In other news, I'm delighted to be able to contribute my own goodies.
During the first Ascension mission (Dunes of Despair), if you spam-click on the Hero while he's at the Altar, he'll eventually say these two lines:
They're hosted on photobucket, so try not to spam too much.
If anyone else feels like hosting them, go for it. ;P

I've had Ascalon Guards the say the "Touching" phrase to me before. Sometimes what they say is pretty funny.

Speaking of clothes when a female elementalist puts her "shirt" thing on, her bra dissapears.

There's also a referance to a song when a dwarf (I forget which one, but he gives you a mission) says for you to take the high road and he'll take the low road. (anyone know the song I'm talking about?)

anyone has seen a boss called onan the spineless.... think its quite funny cause onan is the guy spread his semen on the ground (onanie = masturabtion) and there is a urban myth that to much of that is causing sever spine-damage

The song you're thinking of, RogerWilco, is "Wonder Boy" and they do a homage to that OTHER song that's being referred to... I think. :P

Dunno if it's mentioned yet, but "For Great Justice!" is from Zero Wing, the game which started the "All your base are belong to us" fad.

Something that just popped up, never really thought about it before... Again, one of those things I'm not sure of, but I think its neat... Charr is a common misspelling of the word Chaar, a decepticon planet in the Transformers universe... so I started thinking about it, and realized my memory sucked too much to remember it well enough.. And so enter Wikipedia...
"a small, burned-out husk of a planet located in distant space"
Also had some stuff about how when the Autobots retook Cybertron the Decepticons were forced to retreat to Chaar and hide out for awhile... thought it sounded moderately similar to the GW backstory
Woah. Totally geeked myself out.

Was that in Duke Nukem 3D as well? It's been so long since I played it, I must have forgotten. Doom 3 did similar: in one of the lounges, there's an arcade machine in which you beat turkeys with graphics from Doom II.
...still haven't gotten around to beating that game. Doom 3, not the turkey game.

Whats even worse is that the first boss you fight just after the academy with Rurik uses Barrage. If you could get capture signets Pre-Searing you'd get it at like level 3 :P

Defintion of Char:
To burn the surface of; scorch.
I doubt Charr is a reference to Transformers (Decepticon planet).

I believe it's a quote from Dante's Inferno. A sign above the entrance to Hell. And also strangely enough Milton Keynes.....

I'm confused by your logic...
Its a real word, therefore it can't be a veiled reference to something else?
