I have a question for Racthoh. The w/mo build you showed with healing hands and frenzy, is that the fastest build you have created? And is it for more beginners or advanced players? It looks easier than the original hundred blades build.
A thought of mine:
I was thinking of using mark of rodgort and making a sword with a fiery sword hilt to burn the spiders to death. like maybe with the same build as the first w/x build but instead of flurry put in makr of rodgort.
P.S. I like most of the songs u use Racthoh . A few ended on my iPod

Mark of Rodgort would be interrupted by the spiders.

Getting to the spiders is harder, unless you replace Balthazar's Spirit with Healing Signet (otherwise the degen can become a problem). And replace Frenzy with Flail naturally. Hell at that point since you aren't taking double damage you can probably drop Healing Hands for something else too. I never tried any other builds after that since I've been too busy to farm as much as I used to.

Mark is 25 energy isn't it? And since they'll use Melandru's Resistance, it will only be -4 degen from the burning while that is in effect. And as aB- mentioned, they will Savage Shot it.

Been loving this run, still love this run. Here's my setup currently:
15 swords
14 tactics
9 str
3 inspiration
Dragon Slash
Standing Slash
Silverwing Slash
Flail
Shields Up
Physical resistance
HEal Sig
Sprint
I Use a Duelists cap, knight's chest and legs, and Beserker everything else (though you could go full Knight's exceot for cap if you so desire).
Strongroot's Shield (9str, +30, -2 in stance)
Sskai's sword (+30, 10% furious)
I take 2 extra pieces of armor with minor runes, to swap out for the initial run, that gives me 600 health. When I get to the cave, I swap back and do the spiders with 450. Less heath is better, since the Savage Shot spam is based off a percentage of full health, not an arbitrary number. Healing 1/3 of max helth with Heal Sig is a good thing.
Shield's Up is my bread and butter. When it's up, I can use Flail liberally. Plenty of Armor, IAS, and my "in stance" bonuses still apply (shield and Standing Slash). When SU runs out, I hit Physical Resistance until it recharges.
I exclusively use Sskai's sword. When Furious procs on Dragon Slash, it's a sight to behold. Can't help but love when your elite recharges itself (not to mention your other 2 attacks as well).
Many thanks to Ractoh for starting this crazyness. I just can't get enough...

Dolyak Signet -> Signet. No problem.

Well that was the first build when all there was the chapter 1 skills (geez, so long ago ). This was just the first build I tried since at the time it was what I was using in normal FoW groups except sprint for a res naturally.

@ Marty,
You certainly don't need a zealous mod with that skillset.
And Hundred Blades is hardly required. Probably the best sword elite for the run is Dragon Slash, assuming you have Factions.
Just make sure you have your Strength pumped so you can keep Dolyak up as much as possible until you get the feel for it. Honestly if you're just starting out I'd drop Dolyak and go /me for Physical Resistance, it's easy to keep up constantly with about 6 inspiration. You lose your IAS, but it's a bit safer for learning the ropes, in my opinion.

I find a +45/-2 shield work better then a shield with +10 armor vs piercing and +35 in stance. Is it me or is this so? Also I am looking for a -2/-2 shield so if anyone has one please pm me in game!

For those wondering yes it still works. Still use my original one like Racthoh's. Still havent seen anyone beat 14 shards yet in a single run.

What does the dervish build use for running? When you aggro skales you should be booking it out of there.

Has anyone tried Enraging Charge in place of Sprint? It's not quite as long a speed burst, but it's definately more useful when you start fighting.
