Zealous is needed for the constant Flurry, and I can't remember how the math works out but Flurry will deal more damage than if you were attacking normally plus the faster adrenaline gain. Whether an elemental hilt would be faster or not I suspect that Zealous would be faster.
I find sword allows me to take down the driftwoods really quickly. Positioning them just right allows Hundred Blades to give me 6 hits of adrenaline. Also, switching targets when they're almost dead will keep giving you 6 strikes every time. At which point their health will reach a certain put where all three drop at once. Good fun.

Flurry only gives more adrenaline.
It increases attack speed by 33%, but decreases damage by 25%. So the math is 1.33*(1-0.25) = 1.33*(0.75)= 1
Flurry only increases your adrenaline gain by 33% while leaving your damage output the same.
I am not sure why Cleave does not work well with other adrenaline skills. Each adrenaline skill is charged seperately, NOT from a pool of adrenaline. Meaning 5 hits on an enemy will charge both cleave & penetrating blow. Using cleave does not totally deplete the adrenaline you built up for penetrating blow. You can combo: cleave -> power attack -> penetrating blow;
One question I want to ask Racthoh:
What's your average time & your best time to kill all the driftwood, dryder, & spiders?

Not too sure about the time because I'm getting whispers more often than not (not that I don't like the attention. ) and I'm talking with the guild. Best time was around 45 minutes, clearing everything I could.

Clearing the beach is about 10 minutes if spawns are lucky..
Spiders at the beach another 10-15 (just go leeroy, you can take on 10-15 at a time). Cave itself 20 due to the fact that they ball up and you have to run away to the beach again to get them patrolling..
It's getting boring though :P and I hate the 1-shard-a-run runs
So on average I would say 40-45, don't kill the skales (only got one one time )
If I have lots of keys left I go chest farming, got as far as the windmill one day

Anti-social, I'll try to get a vid of the running part. Although, note that the running part can differ with every attempt depending on where they spawn. Or do you mean running to the part where you first start to fight?

From the beginning(start at the ghost) till the fighting part really, would really appreciate it

Battle Rage and Flurry are both stances, not to mention that Dolyak Signet, Watch Yourself, and Healing Signet will all cancel Battle Rage. Desperation Blow or any other attack skill should work just fine.
EDIT: Here is me running to the driftwood

Battle Rage would seem pointless. Since you don't have Hunred Blades, I'd use the axe version. Cyclone Axe and Cleave are VERY easy to get. Get a max dmg axe and you are good.

Great guide! This has been a fun change of pace.
Someone (maybe the OP?) mentioned that an 85 base armor set would be better for the added elemental defense. Don't the armored spiders and sprout-thinggys do physical damage?
If so, it seems like going with a /Me for the physical resist stance would be the nuts. You could even trade some str points in for a mesmer line to get a handy curse or ether feast.

The 85 base armour wouldn't be better, I would recommend Gladiators.

Racthoh: I love you. My last run on Christmas Eve gave me six shards, two rare Chaos Axes, and one rare Shadow Shield. Maybe it was coincidence, but thanks again!
