600/smite if a monk (i have been trying unsucsesfully to 600/smite it with my necro still working on that though). You dont specify which character you will be doing it with, but if it your necro take some smiting heroes and LoD. Things will be a breeze. With a ranger take judges insight and barrage/tripple shot. All in all take as much holy damage you possibly can.

Take 3 smiting heroes with [signet of judgement] or [ray of judgement](I prefer this one). Lock them on the same target, force them to use their elite, and slowly walk closer, they'll run off together and if done correctly will spike down an entire mob.

3 smite heroes in hm in this dungeon is a waste of time, imo.

care to eloborate? This dungeon is quite difficult and full of undead monsters. Holy damage is the best thing for it.

Well not really
I've tried doing this dungeon several times and found that the 3 smite heroes (as suggested on wiki as well) fail pretty bad.
I didn't find (or try enough) a good hero combination for it but with 1 (me) + 3 nuker ele heroes I got all the way to the end boss on hm with not much problem. With the 3 smite heroes i had trouble cleaning up even the first floor.

however the end boss and its spawns are a totally different story. and i just have to "love" anet for it...
but it can be 600/smited by solo monk with support heroes.

For HM, you need to have a friend come along as well with 1-3 smite monks and have a 4-6 monk smite with that build. For NM, 3 smite heroes breeze through like a full Ursan party would have.
Easiest way is to 600/smite. I've only seen one runner, who usually starts running at 10k but almost always reduces to tips because he can't get anyone xD, but his team set-up used the pre-distance nerf UA, so I dunno if he still runs it anymore. >.>

Warders, ward of elements and ward of stability help greatly here. The shock-aftershock combo hurts bad here so eliminating that take a lot of pressure of your team. This made a huge difference for us.
Judges insight works nicely but you need to be the one to control it.
A derv using holy damage also does well
While MMs are useless SS works pretty well.
Not full builds but some ideas

i used a 600+smite to do the whole thing ,but since u asked for h/h,i also tried 3 dervishes with avatar of balthazar and made them ranger secondary with antidote signet, finished shards of orr nm ,i might try making them melandru dervishes with heart of holy flame ,problem is that u need to wait between fights for the forms to recharge

3 smite monks or signet mesmers with [ray of judg][smite hex][smite condit][bane sig][castigation sig][mantra of insc] and other smiting skills including [judge's insight] on one of them. if you're a ranger, either go splinter barrage and have your hero cast judges on you or take a scythe with [[aura of holy might]. then take devona, herta, and the monk henchies. worked just fine for me when i did this with my dervish. and when i went on my monk, i went as another smiter.

Look - obviously best way is to 600/smite it. Ive done over 100 runs on my monk, and it takes me 35-40minutes per run in HM now, a much better time than a full team of humans can put together.
Also, drop rate on BDS is crap, so not a great idea to do hour long runs for literally a 1/500 chance at an item which will probably not be curses req lol. (To give you an idea, in 136 runs to date of 6 humans each getting 2 drops, I've seen 4 bone dragon staffs drop ever. So from my experience, it's 4/(136*6*2) = .24% drop rate.
If you insist on trying, as a ranger I'd take 3 barrage heroes all with judges insight and a few other smites like smite hex/condition. That first round of 4 holy barrages will severely F-up any mob until Fendi. Fendi will be tricky though regardless of team build if you are H/Hing in HM. Just make sure to flag heroes out.

No need for special builds, well maybe for fendi since he is the hardest part of the dungeon. He was a horror because of that retarded narrow bridge
The rest is just a matter of pulling/ganking wizards. I'm talking about HM H/H btw.

only hard part was fendi but with a lot of determination i got him.

I play a warrior and found the best way to clear SoO HM was to use two smite heroes and an EMo with small prots, Restore Condition, and Earth Wards. As long as I could keep blind off myself I could mow down the enemies.

I can typically clear SoO HM with H/H in about 1hour~ using the following setup:
3x Smiters Mo/X
1. Reversal of Damage
2. Smite Hex
3. Smite Condition
4. Signet of Judgement
5. Spear of Light
6. Castigation Signet
7. Smiters Boon
8. Rebirth/Res.
I take Mhenlo, Lina, Herta & Cynn.
I myself am a typical Axe Warrior with Plague Touch, "I am Unstoppable" & Light of Deldrimor.
I just bodyblock mobs on corners etc & just let my H/H AoE them down. Don't need to do any skill
micro-management etc, just pile on through the dungeon.
On Levels 1 & 2 you can pull the Cursed Brigands which drop the Dungeon Keys with a bow & don't
have to kill the surrounding groups.
Usually takes like 4/5 wipes on Fendi before it dies, have a Powerstone just in-case things go pear-shaped.

Me and some friends ran through it yesterday. We had a human ele running MS and would glyph sac it onto the mob after we sent out derv tank in. If your tank does NOT get spiked down in the first few seconds, every1 else's dmg should be able to kill all of them. If the tank dies, your group is screwed. Tons of KDs and condtions here.
The boss fight is even worse. Fendi goes down quite easily. He spawns Soul of Fendi and you must kill him. Our group kept wiping and we eventually got him. Each time you kill him, Fendi respawns and you must kill him again. After you kill him, Soul comes back but with less and less health. You will eventually kill him. Each time soul spawns, he has a several rits helpers. They spike down a paragon with bonds in 2 seconds.
This is the most retarded boss fight I have ever been in. You only need consumables and a good half hour to killl just the boss. Whoever thought this up at Anet must be the same person that thought up hero battles. Anet really needs to get better employees for this great game...

Thank you so much. I had no previous experience with smiting and was having great difficulties in SoO, the build you posted really helped me to finally clear the dungeon with ease. Along with the added benefit of learning a little bit about smiting as well.
I was doing the tanking with an A/E permaform (link:http://www.pvxwiki.com/wiki/Build:A/...Daggers_Farmer). Which, as I had some problems with the end boss, I found could solo both fendi nin and soul of fendi nin, in case the rest of my H/H team was taken out by fendi nin. So yeah, thank you for helping me to help myself.
