bring a necro hero with Spoil Victor and Signet of Sorrow.

Bring Prot spirit on a hero

Bring Swap on a hero or urself

Once at duncan, swap all spirits near the base of the stairs away.

Flag the SV there, force prot. Kill urself at duncans feet.

Force the necro to slowly kill him. Eventually u will win. If you can get to duncan that is.

Just dont let PS drop.

I do it with hero/hench all the time,carful pulling and allot of rupts=win.

i miss the good old days when its done with warrior tank
barrage ranger 3 eles 1 ss 1 bonder 1 hb. granted it takes up to an hour to complete each area. then ursan came...it died so now sins and eles ruin it with permasf

If you're an ele....Swap isn't necessary. You see those nice STATIONARY spirits that CAN'T RUN? Sure they'll respawn, but with careful energy management you can continue nuking the hell out of them while you kill ol' Dunky.

The SV trick is prolly your best chance with H/H as they are pretty dumb. If you have real people, then you get alot more options (things like perma-KD, Wail of Doom etc.) and the SV trick becomes kinda crappy.

Did it last night with my gf, the dungeon took over 2 hours in total (just duncan) but alot of that time was spent, pulling carefully, clearing out ALL popups, and I was the only one who brought Swap so I had to take care of the spirits myself.

The fight with duncan took 15 minutes, My gf was prot spirting my hero with her two monk heroes while I microed sig of sorrow (after killing myself next to duncan)

in retrospec, I should have brought SV along, it would have gone quicker, or even SS and empthy (which I would do it i ever did this in HM)

but we did it for the first time and I am proud of us for it ^_^ was a tough uphill battle but we still did it

don't suppose anyone could post an almost RETARD-proof h/h build for HM for a ranger?

just wanna get this done...if someone wouldn't mind posting atts. and skills for heroes and which hench...as well as a build for a ranger

Haha gz. I remember my first duncan was pretty ugly... actually first few were til I learned all the pops. Of course full slavers exile clear with HM duncan now takes like 90mins - funny how much better it gets

PS: SS + emp better IMO, since SV is useless the rest of the dungeon

thanks for the SS/Emp thing, I'll keep that in mind.

while doing the dungeon, I flagged my heroes back ALOT (and telling my gf to stay back with her heroes), and then slowly went foward looking for popups, then running back to the flagged spot.

worked very well, only bad thing was, using swap on the spirits sometimes made unexpected popups (not to mention, I got hit by duncan for 150 damage while using swap on a nearby spirit)

my gfs hand got sore from using prot spirit from both of her monks, so I don't think we'll be doing slavers again for a long time (although next time, I'll defo bring SS/Emp along with sig of sorrow...hell SS will trigger so much in HM, it won't even be funny XD)

still looking for a good build

used the ones recommended on here and its regardless....the AI is so shit I just can't do it

I've tried running everything I can - bow ranger sword ranger / dslash ranger - axe ranger dagger ranger trapper

EVERYTHING

used builds from here and still get owned by summit groups.....they just won't aggro on me and its really pissing me off now

anyone got a build or willing to team with me and help me through it?
