Amatz Basin - CM Strategy.
Is there one? Hack'n'Slash as much as possible while surviving? Someone elsewhere said it was a decent way for those not as elite as (H)FFF/AB/HM folks to gain kurzick faction. By all means, share your thoughts, ideas, but save your rants and flaming.

Split Teams left and right?
The left side seems to be harder than the right.

I did this in a crazy way :P
5 Defy Pain warriors.
1 Ether Prodigy Heal Party spam ele
1 OoV Necro
1 Perma sin tanking the middle
ele and necro sit behind the portal at the start and spam.
3 warriors go left. 2 go right. things die.
perma tanks the middle and stops them wandering towards the portal.
heroes can do everything except the perma.
worked for me at least :P

Only strategy I've seen to work so far is a 4-4 split, but that's only gotten me as far as a failing 74.

I did a split. One ranger + 1 MM hero + healer hero went right, which was pretty easy to hold. Other side was 2 rest/channeling rits (1 hero), 1 MB/DS assassin, and me as barrage ranger with SY.
We pretty consistently hit in the 90s before losing. I expect if you had more people with imba pve skills you could get 100s fairly easily. The most important thing is to instarape as many groups with AoE as soon as they spawn. Me and the assassin buffed by splinter weapon were able to do this pretty easily, but left side just ends up with so many spawns that its still really hard. It's rediculous how much more difficult this is in comparison to the other challenge missions, which were pretty much a cakewalk even H/H. My group was only PuG but the players were pretty decent, I expect a guild group would be able to do a bit better if they went, especially if you have pve skills (I was the only one with them in my group).
If you are going for faction the only way to do it is with a full permasin group or something. Even then you have to beat the record to get good faction, so its really much easier to just vanquish areas (30-35k per area this weekend).

If your just looking for easy faction. 3 perma sins (one taking left, middle, right) with a paragon(enduring harmony), paragon/rit(vocal was someone:-D), or warrior/rits with (Vocal was Someone) and a paragon or warrior/rit with previous setups at shrine. Seems to rake in a good amount of faction. The Shouters (warriors and paragons) speed up the refugees when they come out of their spawn points. The perma sins hold the agro of the groups at mid point or so. And the player at shrine speds the refugees up on their final stretch to shrine. (I also assume resets the refugee spawn time faster too) the group I was with ran n interesing setup where the permas stayed at 1/2 and less health to help keep the attackers on them, so they wouldn't lose agroo and go after something else. I have to say after I died the first time and I got to understand the setup as they talked it was great they pulled in 300+ in points/refugees. They were amazing. I'll be heading there more often now for faction farming much easier then Abing, maybe not quite as fun. but faction is faction.
Thanks to the group that helped me out.

I think you get about 12k or so faction for 300 points. Atleast that's what I got when I did it. I notice for pugs they run 4 permas since I guess they dunno how to run one so that they block both of the middle groups. Not too much of a difference. If they ran with half health it would help more.
Also, paragons or rt/paragons should be at the portal or right side, because it's a shorter distance.

Agreeing with the rest, perma are the only EASY way of getting 100 pts... the max i've got with it is 299.. (Arggh).... i've tried balence... but to no prevail.... but yea... Pugs will run 4 perma since the left has a lot of mobs.. which might be hard for 1 perma to hold aggro....
