i'm a little confused at what you are saying in that first paragraph. sounds like you misunderstood something on the wiki.
the best way to find out how long eotn will take on nm is to go beat eotn on nm. a stopwatch will do fine.

You still need to do them, i have no idea what you read on wiki.

I assume you are refering to: http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/List_...primary_quests
You misunderstood wiki. Notice on wiki how you have the little arrow pointing down to the next step after "Hole of Istan"? You will see the arrow will point to a bar that goes all the way across the screen. For example "The Beginning of the End" has all arrows pointing to it from all three campaigns and that bar goes all the way across, thus all campaigns must do it.
To make it easier, you must do everything below "Hole of Istan". It can be a little confusing if its your first time through.
You should be able to knock out EoTH in a day or two if its your first time through. It only takes that long because you will have to waste some of you time running to different towns and outpost as well as you will have to tweak your builds for certain missions. The second time you go through the missions you can probable finish in 6 to 8 hrs.
