Problems Vanquishing Stone Summit Groups
For the last day or so ive been working on vanquishing most of the southern shiverpeaks, im running into serious problems whenever i encounter a mob that has 2 or more dolyak riders, in particular the one in tasca's demise that has 3 dolyaks, 2-3 warriors, rangers and and riders and a couple necros, ive tried sabway, discordway, even tried trapping it, i get owned everytime. I might be overlooking something obvious, but how is everyone else getting throught that mob?

Enchant removal should work well, but I had no problems as BHA with 1 MM hero, 1 splinter/rest rit hero, 1 Curse necro hero.
Sabway is really weak against any enemies with decent defence, but discord groups should be powering through it well enough. Are you calling targets and switching if a prot goes up?

forgot to add im running a bha ranger, but yea i switch targets, actually just tried sabway again and got it done this time, but only because lured the dolyak riders so far apart that they couldnt heal each other.
Which i had the same thing happen when i tried to do dreadnought's drift yesterday, maybe im not switching targets fast enough? well see what happens when i try to do dreads again

Enchant strips are almost a must when dealing with the summit healers and protectors. If you use Sabway or Discordway you can't go wrong with a good enchant removal.

use sabway or discordway which ever you prefer and just mod it to have heavy enc remove, should be fine.
i myself would recomend Discord,mm with ps+aegis n/rt healer modded to 10+1+1 death 11 resto and 9+1 SR with discord+rip or rend encs and a n/e with wards hexes one or two enc removes and conditions along with discord, you should be fine with that.
If you want exact builds you can contact me in-game whenever im on.(im on now,not for too much longer though, will be on random times through the day..)

Bring heavy enchant strips, and/or don't waste your BHA on the first Dolyak. Spread conditions and such around until they're all sufficiently distracted, and have hopefully wasted the majority of their prot, then daze and kill one, and repeat. Worked well enough for me, though bringing at least one enchant removal makes it much easier.

No, 2 enchant removals should be fine. Checking wiki, aside from MoP the only other enchants I believe they use are life attunement (also good to get off them), and the mesmers have Illusion of haste along with arcane echo. So the mesmer's will suck up a few enchant removals and waste them, but as long as your heroes are focused on a single target you should be getting off the big stuff often enough.

I had a similar challenge months back. Sabway was just too weak and I had yet to discover the power of discord.
My solution was simple. I brought along cons with me and pulled...and pulled...and pulled...and pulled..................
Since you seemed to have solved your problem, I'd recommend bringing a cons set plus a powerstone for emergencies. Even amidst storage/inventory space shortages, it's worth considering.

vanquishing in general
here some advice,!
I finished my vanquishing days last year, currently hold legendary vanquisher, guardian, and others, and i play a Ranger, Broadhead arrow, distracting shot, apply poison, are you friends, also if you have ETON, ebon vanguard support is great, also when vanquishing or any other hardmode missions a good pure interupt mesmer hero is a must, also SS necro hero, and contrary to anyone else opinion, sabway and or discordway are not god builds, you cannot do every mission or clear every area with these build, no one denies that there good builds and work but there are plenty of other hero and henchi combination that work, when areanet design the game, they made it with the idea that you could beat the game with just henchies, how about all the players who started playing prophesies when it first came out, there were no heroes back then , just henchie, learn the basics of how the game works, study the skills, and read guild wiki for the mission and area outline, research the foes your facing, and study there strenghts and weaknes, theres on person that post on this , and i take my hat to him and thats Payne Storm, he does, not follow the radical cue style of playing, but rather studies and makes he own builds to effectively win, my hat off to you my friend!

Full stops are friends too.
I remember those Stone Summit groups all too well. There's one group in particular that absolutely annoyed my guildie and I. It was in Lornar's Pass (6 man party from Beacons, last map for Legendary Vanquisher /sigh) and the group had three Dolyaks. We spent ages trying to take on the group from the north (they were in a small Stone Summit camp area to the right of the map) and then we finally decided to run all the way around the map and attack them from the south. Managed to slowly hack at them but boy it took forever. That group and Jolo Lighthaunch's group (he has 2-3 Modnir Protectors with him) were the most annoying in all the VQs.

Vanquishing stone summits
Khazad - i hear buddy, but a good challenge is always fun, another good one is early on in the ascaalon area, near ruins of surmia . i believe, the area with grawls, you have to vanquish and there be groups with 3 oe more grwl healers, and you arte in a 4 man party, frustration at its best, good old norgu with his 6 interupts on his bar, and me playing a Broadhead arrwo ranger with apply poison, distracting shot, ebon vanguard support, my olias with SS for elite and a few death magic skill minion summons, plus of course dunkoro running healers boon build, fun, fun, fun!

It is possible to kill mobs with multiple dolyaks while carrying no enchant removal. And no daze either. Simply exploit the monster AI. The dolyaks love to use MoP on stuff with low health. So the first thing to do is put pressure on non-dolyaks. When I did it, it was with sabway, my version carried a lot of passive defense to keep the physicals of the summit subdued. Basically, if you can survive the mob long enough to get the dolyaks to use MoP, then they are clean kills.
Discord only makes it easier. Instead of using AP and YmLaD, toss a cheap condition + hex on a couple enemies, when the dolyaks use their MoP, THEN full spike a dolyak. There is no reason you shouldn't be able to hold out for a full minute with a proper discord build, and if you can spike well, the fight won't even last that long.
When I was vanquishing, I always carried dual aegis, weapon of warding, 1-2 copies of prot spirit, enfeebling blood, and minions. What I use for it now drops a copy of aegis and takes dwayna's sorrow, and then the aoe faintheartedness (the name escapes me atm). Running with a n/rt and double monk lets you take a lot of pressure, and the party heals + defense let you hold out while you spike stuff out.
