Hey, i've recently purchased EotN, and my favourite character is my ritualist. I'm just wondering if Rit's are actually used in dungeon farms, or would it be a better move to bring a necro, or a ele to EotN first?
Sounds like you want to pug dungeons. If that's the case, it might be a bit tough as I think most of today's pugs run with cryway or [ray of judgment]way. (or whatever you want to call it) Your best chance into a pug would either be as a restoration healer, or some form of Splinter/barrage or [Spirit's Strength]/Weapon of Aggression/Volley.
Example builds:
Resto healer: [build=OACiEyk8kxkmRzJ34s6RMvYA]
Splinter/Barrage: [build=OAKjkxhjIPLGMm3EAAA2M0mLG]
What you might want to try to do is see if you can 600 rit/smite it first and if not, either try to get into a good guild or run sab/discordway heroes (You can find these in the heroes section of campfire) with a build like this one here.
Best of luck with whatever you decide to do!

Most people as some of the posts above say they can be good and most of all you have some fun playing the game.
He/she can chop and change to whatever you wish to be and you will still enjoy the game.
Some people become obsessed with builds by that I mean having a bar that they may see on wiki ect
Experiment with all builds ..think out of the box at times and you will enjoy The Rit...
Spend a few mins by having a look at what you will face in Missions/Dungeons
If you hero /hench then you are in control of the full team so make a team that will see you through it...If you PUG then that means you may have to swop some skills to blend into the respective team
So pick up all the skills /elites and you can be whatever the team asks of you
But most of all This is your char..and you should be able to enjoy a game ,not being forced to play what others ask of you
