Hunter's Pride Polar Bear
I saw this question in an old thread but it never got a yes or no answer by someone who's tried this soooo..... Has anyone tried to charm the bear in the Hunter's Pride quest? I wouldn't think it to be tameable but u never know. I was just curious b4 I actually accept the quest reward on a new char.

Never tried it but,
If you want a bear just walk outside of Boreal Station one just next to the shrine at start, or get a Jingle Bear that is also displayed in HoM. |

Tried it, nope, this is not an animal. Guess its a vegetable...prolly spending to much time gaming. Decided to just go on to Frostmaw's since it was close. Frosty weren't tamable either. |

It's not that I wanted a bear in particular but the bear in Hunter's Pride quest is already leveled to 20 as opposed to level 5 like the 'Jingle Bear'. not wanting to take time to level pets on chars that only run ranger secondary part time or for heroes that don't get all that much play time to fully level pets from 5 to 20. But since apparently it's not tameable i'll just have to grab the lvl 15 white tiger in Echovald. Thanks for the replys tho. Oh and as far as I know any level 20 pet can be displayed in HoM but the only ones I'm aware of with their own statue are the Black Moa, Phoenix, and Black widow otherwise they have the same generic 'animal companion' statue in HoM. I don't know anyone who has leveled the 'Jingle Bear' to lvl 20 so i don't know if it has it's own statue in HoM. I'd say not considering a bear is already featured on the generic statue along with the wolf and melandru's stalker.
