Hey guys. I'm new here so I am sorry if this is in the wrong place or it's been asked before.

I am having trouble on Vizunah square with my level 16 Ranger/Elementalist. Is there another class that is easier to complete the story missions with?

And yes I know I sound like a real noob.

Any help is appreciated.

I don't think your problem is related to your class.

I'd recommend getting to level 20 and (if you haven't already) get max armour from Kaineng Center.

It should make things a lot easier for you.

To get to 20, there's a lot of quick and easy quests before you get to the mission. Taking a few of those should have you to 20 in no time.
Max armour will benefit you much more than gaining a few levels though.

Be sure to post again if you're still having trouble with the mission afterwards.
At the very least, myself or someone else may be able to run you through it so you can move on.

I remember when I first started playing, (I was also a Ranger) =P
I got stuck on The Frost Gate mission for days before I managed it... n.n;

I miss the days when missions like the frost gate seemed hard. sigh

To the OP, max armor is really the first thing you should get. It helps out a lot.

u should get some lvl 20 heros too ;-). heros>henchmen everytime. if u have eotn, u can get gwen, ogden, and vekk lvl 20 easily.

I only have factions.

I was told that, that was not the best place to start.

I can see why now.

I am hoping to get Prophecies and nightfall in a few days.

Yeah, you tend to level very quickly in Factions.
Prophecies and Nightfall are both better paced if you're just starting out.

Prophecies is also nice because you can unlock a lot of skills for free by doing quests.
Even if you don't use many of them at first, it comes in handy later in the game when you start devising builds with a certain purpose in mind, or setting up your heroes.

yeah get to lvl 20 first
thats major
then make sure you have max armor, 70AL i think is max for rangers.

then make sure your build is good, thats always another big part.
since you don't have NF try getting a guild that will help you, or many people on guru will be glad to lend a hand.

might take a couple tries, that mish is a doozy

I'm level 17 now, and I have upgraded chest armour, I'm working towards the rest.
