i was wondering, when u unlock a hero in nightfall, do you unlock them in other campaigns and be able to use them?

Unlocking heroes just makes them available to use by your PvP characters. Each PvE char you have needs to get the heroes for themselves.

You can use those heros in other campaigns on that character only, aswell as every character you use that has them unlocked. You can also use them in specified PvP too, like HB.

Any PvP skills you've unlocked will be unlocked for all your heros across all your characters too.
