The last 0.8% is the most difficult part of the title. No way of getting around it.
And texmod could not have possibly not helped you. I hit 100% mark and still had pockets of uncovered areas here and there. Are you sure you tried using it?

Texmod should show you about 100.3% of the map from my experience with it. Other than that, and without copy of your map to check, there's not much we can do. Except maybe recommend the very helpful Grandmaster Cartography Guide on the unofficial wiki.

Did you watch the Sanctum Cay cutscene, it uncovers a big area? Try that guide above and the portal jumping tactic. It's really usefull!

Have you used Necrotic Traversal to get into the 'back country' in Dunes of Despair mission? There's a huge area there to be explored. The same trick can be used to give access to 'Rurik's Path' in The Frost Gate mission.
Have you scraped all the towns and outposts? I was stuck at 99.9% for ages, until I scraped Ring Of fire outpost.

Have you posted in guru's Prophecies Explorer forum? Here is a link to the sticky on cartography http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10232891
Check that thread for map links and some examples of missed areas.

You are using texmod and you aren't seeing the areas you missed? That's like having the teacher's answer key in front of you and still failing a multiple-choice exam.
Look again, and post what areas you know you missed but can't figure out how to reach, and we can give you proper advice.

When you say texmod didn't help, do you mean you couldn't get it to run correctly? Or that you have uncovered the indicated areas using it and still are only at 99.1% (which I have a hard time believing)?

I feel for you. I was stuck on 99.1% for months. I gave up for a while because it was so hard. Then I found texmod. Thank god for that.
Good luck. Tyria is by far the hardest to map.

Um ... what? Tyria has so much more than 100% that it is by far the easiest of the three continents to map. I hit 100% in Tyria and still have large areas on the map that are not uncovered. I maxed the Tyria title partway through the last mission and never even finished mapping it. In Cantha and Elona I had to scrape and struggle for every last bit, not to mention the challenge and competitive missions that must be mapped.

it is incredibly easy...BUT some of the % are in mission only areas which can be a sod as you have to enter missions to get them - time consuming etc...especially without textmod can be time consuming...

I had still had lots of uncovered places left compared to the textmod map, and also found quite alot of area's not even viewable on the textmod map so its actually quite bit larger then 100% as the title suggests.
Some of the hardest to see without text mod was the coastal area's in the D'Alesio's Seaboard mission, after checking it with text mod the first time, it was a very large dark area left for me there.

You must not be using it correctly if you find it doesn't help! If it makes you feel any better when I got 100% there was a lot of places in the Snake Dancey areas I hadn't done so it's a bit flexible that way. Not as stingy as NF or Factions
Are you loading Texmod then assigning (if thats the right word) the Tyrian map to it, when you press M it should show you a blue haze on uncovered bits, the black border is where you want to push the blue too, just wallhug in the areas where the blue is not at the black. If that makes sense
