I believe so. When I originally tried this build, Livia did a terrible job of using Vengeful Weapon and Weapon of Remedy but I tried it against yesterday and she was using them much more

She likes to use weapon of remedy more if your actually suffering from a condition. I think they like to use it like a condition remover instead of a damage prevention skill.

Did the Char-Ascalon part of the Titan Quest (yeah, a team of 4 only) in regular mode with this build and it rocked. 20k xp..in just 20 minutes.
Then tried the hard-mode of Defending North Kryta (because the henchies at LA sucked in NM). I was wiping enemies like crazy from face of the earth when a tiny group attacked the NPC without any warning and killed him.
So, I got to repeat it...

Glad it worked for you, sussaura. And Gratz on dropping Duncan in the dirt. Like a lot of things, the setup is the tough part, but once you have things in place, Duncan whittles down to nothing pretty quickly.
And GL with the new armor.

Somewhat OT, but I wonder if heroes use splinter weapon better now.
Hmmm... maybe the N/Mo MM could go back to N/Rt and spam splinter weapon + ancestor's rage on the minions?

I just want to add my voice to the many who praise this build. I gave it a try with the original skill setups on my 3 necros and my axe warrior with the Ursan Blessing skill.
Finally I can do the Hard Mode Ascalon areas that I've been wanting to do for ages but could never find a group due to my odd playing times and most of my guild studying for colledge.
I'll also add that , yes, it's not "god mode" and you do have to watch where you are going and what you are doing but now I feel I can finally play a portion of the gmae that was mostly off limits to me.
Thank you again!

From what I've seen and heard, this build is amazing. I don't have all the heros yet on my Necromancer, but I recently got my first Necro hero (Livia), so I tried out the Jagged MM build. All I can say is...WOW.
Once I get the other heroes, I'll try this out.
To my real problem...
I play a Necromancer, so would I just take the place of one of the heroes? if so, which hero? Maybe just run a BiP build to help support the heroes?

You can run anything really, but I'd suggest dual SS (you and a hero) or Spoil Victor. Your heroes should be fine on energy, so you won't need BiP.

Does the Resto necro use Protective Was Kaolai at all?
For me he just casts it and leaves it on, never bothers to drop it when the party is suffering from AoE pressure, in essence it's just a +24 armor to him and a 70hp party heal every minute.... I'd rather take Recuperation or Recovery.

From my experience, the Rest Necro does use PwK very wisely, dropping it when all/most of the party has taken at least 25/30% dmg.
Unless this has changed on this last hidden Oct 20th patch.

When I tried this build a couple weeks ago, the Resto behaved exactly as Maverick describes:

I might also add that SoLS is also questionable on the Resto thanks to the AI's stupidity, since it won't use ever it if set to "avoid combat," and does all sorts of other foolish things if set to "defend."

I'm planning to take down Duncan with this build and hench but i'm a warrior primary so I can't take both Swap and Frozen Soil. Are both of them needed and if not which should I take?

I would put frozen soil on the SS(curses) necro and leave his res at home..since you will be putting up frozen soil rez will be useles anyway

How does this build work in places without corpses for the MM to use? I've been playing around with this lately and it seems that main point of using that certain MM build is so that lots of minions will be made and die to keep up the energy of the SS and healer.

It should be clear NOT to bring the MM when you know there won't be any corpses to exploit

I know that, what I meant is that it seems the other two necros get most of their energy from the minions dieing and how would it work in a place where they are no minions.
