ROFL I feel your pain, I use splinter barrage for Urgoz runs and that's one hell of a long mission ^^.

Ditch 1 monka and add Zho, else the build has zero disruption. With one monk the healing power was enough for me.

If you're running 2 or more physical damage dealers, then i would definitely bring [skill]mark of pain[/skill] and [skill]splinter weapon[/skill].
The damage you see to balled up mobs is immense as splinter actually triggers mark of pain and barbs.

I use a splinter barrager. Yeah it gets annoying, but considering the sheer amount of damage you cause, it's well worth the recast time. If you want to make things interesting, bring along a pet and Never Rampage Alone. Or if you don't want your pet, use drunken master. The attack speed boost makes you feel like you have a bit more control over your ranger. I bring along keen arrow for those cases where neither barrage or splinter would be effective. But really if my role was to cause massive DPS to a single target, I would have changed my build to do so with possibly a glass arrow/doubleshot/tripleshot build.
Mark of Pain sounds like a great idea, I think I'll throw that on MoW and see what he does with it. With me spamming barrage into a crowd, odds are I'll hit the one he casts it on

The minions alone make MoP more than worthwhile.

SR abuse in PvE is awesome. It does have a couple holes that need to be filled in though.
1) Tons of healing, not that much prot. Usually you're ok, but one of them overpowered fire eles bosses is trouble. BHA or a decent monk fixes this.
2)Tons of hexes, not a lot of direct damage. Fill it in with CoP spike if you have humans, or some kind of AoE midliner (splinter barrage, ele, whatever).

I just have to say thank you for enabling me to solo H/H the quest and get the Ritualist hero in Nightfall (Added Prot Hench monk, Cynn, Devona, and The dervish hero, Gwen set as a shut down mesmer, me as a SS with Pain inverter and Radiation Field) It was a walk in the park thank you.

Just a quick note, the skills/attributes are by no means final, they're just what I happened to be using at the time. If Fire Eles are tearing you up, put in a Prot Spirit. If some skills on the Curse Necro aren't working out, take them out and put in something more useful. I change my own bar and my heroes' from zone to zone, and you should too. PvE is pretty forgiving, so it won't hurt to fill in the gaps yourself (see Dr Strangelove's post).

I'm trying it right now with just 1 monk (im full smite, no heals/prot)....I'm failing to understand how this is supposed to work as I'm pretty much getting owned...how did you manage with only 1 monk?

I dont get the point of the restoration necro/ritualist, mine rarely uses weapon of remedy and never uses vengeful weapon, I think i might replace that with another n/rt minion master to have two of them.

Great find. I am going to try the Necros out tonight.

I used a dual atunement Air spiker for my ele and the henchies were the healer, protector, interupter, and earth ele. If I put some effort into it I make it thru more than half the time.

Nice build for faster farming.
Just waiting for lightbringer and the gaze to get nerfed, since GW:EN doesn't require you to own nightfall.
Since I'm not familiar with the exploit politics, I kept myself from using it.
If it is intended so or not, it would be more fair towards those who only got Prophecies or Factions.
If Anet want to give us a working blessing in SE, they should make Stout Hearted work there instead, or maybe invent a total different thing.

The N/Rt has unbelievable amounts of energy (SR + SolS), and can heal often. The problem is, you can't heal spikes very well. I don't know about you, but the heroes have been using the weapon spells pretty nicely (using it on those getting attacked) which is pretty sweet.

Remember... he has the N/Rt which is healing too. It all depends... what area did you try this with?

Mine uses weapon of remedy all the time. Problem is, they usually cast it and overwrite my splinter weapon and I'm left wondering why my barrage didn't do much damage lol

I brought wards, ward against harm can usually take the brunt of an attack while the small bits get healed by the resto-necro. This build doesn't work in some places without extra defense, but with an extra monk I missed the damage, so I tossed in an ele.

I took your build to Slaver's Exile with my mesmer, henchies and a few changes. I was just going to have a look but ended up doing all 4 levels and killing Duncan.
I took out the weapon spells on the Restoration N/Rit and gave him SV and Blood Ritual. SV works well cause mobs attack the low health Bone Minions and it helped alot with Duncan.
So, thanks!

SAB's Hero Builds
All i can say to Sab is " Your Awesome Dude ", these builds rock, i have been having a hardtime doind prophesies in hardmode(Going for My Guardian Titles Now), last night i did the first 4 mission in prophesies(Fort Ranik, The Northen Wall, Ruins of Surmia, and Noalni Academy, all in Hardmode, and completed them with at much trouble, the first 3 went very smooth, the 4 th one Nolami Academy i had 1 party wipe on the bonus area, my heroes over aggroed to amny ghost soirits, were the tome pedestal was, on the second try, i flagged the heroes, and i pulled them in a controled manner, my main character that i was running, is A Ranger/Monk, with the Standard Broadhead Arrow build as post in Pwiki builds in guild wiki, i used 2 main bows, Elyswith Longbow(Posion by 33%), and a Silencing Recurve Bow of fortitude( Lengthens Daze by 33%) for when i use Broadhead arrow, im going to do boriles pass and the frost gate tonight, so i get to add 2 henchies, any suggestions on which henchies to grab, i was leaning towards the ele cynn and the mesmer or the necro, any suggestions would be appreciated, thks so much
