Mallyx ST vs Imba
Over the weekend I had the experience of doing Mallyx 6 times with PuGs. Time and time again the team screams for an Imbagdon. As everyone knows an Imbagdon helps greatly in damage reduction thus increasing suvivorbility (word?) of the group.
During one of the PUGs, (I think bout the 2nd one) we had 2 rits and no Imba, one SOS and one ST. I was absolutely amazed how easy it was. The ST rit was running Shelter and Union, which worked wonders.
So ofc after experiencing how well this worked I encouraged other groups to try it.......I ran into great opposition. "Thats STUPID!" "That won't work!" "You don't know anything!" I had to laugh b/c there are always these kind of ppl you'll run into. Anyhow after not being able to find an Imba for an extended period of time I convinced the group to let me bring Xandra with a slightly modified build from the one above.
And you guess it...We rolled it! Most of the group expressed that they were impressed with how well it worked...cept the one vocal Pessimist (who immediately left). Anyhow, just throwing it out there as an option for ppl to try...you might be amazed....lol.
Thanks! ~Take care and Have fun~

Been running a ST rit for our HM Balanced DoA clears since the update. Though we typically use a paragon for NM, it's way too vulnerable to the environmental effects, which the ST rit bypasses to great effectiveness.
Thanks for a Mallyx version.

I agree, Restoration is useless, Displacement is better.
Amazed by what? Communing defensive spirits rule, I think their more useful than offensive.

Well someone's having a bad day. Restoration is simply a spot filler. It helps ease PUG's minds seeing you have a rez. Displacement would be a better option I agree.
