Vanquishing Majesty's Rest HM: Rotscale
First - sorry for another Rotscale thread. Been awhile and I don't have a lot of time to dig around to find other, similar threads.
I play a ranger in the original GuildWars and EotN - don't have Factions/Nightfall. Am plugging along about 2/3rds of the way through vanquishing, but having a tough time with Rotscale in MR.
I'd like some input on builds for the Ranger, as well as heroes and their builds, and henchies, as well as strategies for attacking Rotscale and his gang.

Holy damage doesn't work on Rotscale, just everything else.

Unlike other zombies, it does not take double damage from holy damage.

Thanks to all of you for excellent responses and suggestions. I'm looking forward to mixing it up in MR soon, so will put your input to good use.
Cheers!

The actual key to do this is to pull and kill his minions separately from him, also bring interrupts and daze.

The fastetst way to down him is with a N/Mo or Mo/N playing a 3000HP Tank together with a regular Smiter Monk and a Symbiosis Ranger. The Tank takes Grenths Balance as the Elite... The rest is normal standing around waiting for a few minutes while the smiter does a little damage every hit and the Tank does up to ~3000HP every 10 seconds.

Heh! I went in w/ incomplete solo w/ henchies/heroes...got wiped within about 15 seconds. Not even sure if I hit anything with my Ranger. Tough enough if you haven't been there - that's why input is important. Especially given my schedule hasn't allowed me to game as much anymore.
Thanks again, all!

I just went through and did it no problem with 2 improv roj smiter monks, 1 ua monk, discord team, panic mes, and i was discord caller.
Didn't even bother pulling and had no problem at all, if you run these heroes and pull you should be able to pull it off nicely
Also do not forget to /kneel to the monument of balthazar to get the health and morale bonus, this helps a lot too!
