You don't often see those two in the same sentence

Don't be afraid to use some cons in this if nothing else is working. A conset is a bit excessive for NM play in most cases, but if nothing else is working...

A summoning stone might be useful as well, if only to take a little pressure off your level 10s if you're using henchies.

The single most useful thing you can have for this is a Panic Mes, closely followed by a minion bomber (or 2)

Must now go research what half these builds mean/are/do- we've been trying to run it with 2 humans (ranger & necro) and Heroes (Ogden, Livia, Mox & Vekk) and as soon as the Jade boss shows up we get squished like wine grapes. And that's with summoning stones, boosts, etc. Obviously doing *something* massively wrong.

Ok, added Gwen with panic, Xandra with SoS, and we're still getting wiped as soon as the huge wave of jades shows up. Ideas?

What builds are you and your heroes running ? (apart from the SoS and Panic)

For the jade boss and his friends, don't hesitate to back and let the npcs assist you. Try to bodyblock them in the stairs (with minions, spirits, npcs or yourself with some prots).

Are you infused ? It's doable without infusion, but not a great idea.

I use that level to farm on my rit, subbing the hero SoS with ST and the SV for SS. Start out camping the front gate, then after the first wave back up to the first stairs and let them bottleneck. I'm going to play with swapping the discord necro for a minion bomber, turning the monk into a UA, and putting the rit on full-time ST duty.

Didn't have any problem with it. No summons, no cons and no deaths. I even considered more than once running outside and just nuking everything since I was getting bored waiting for more to come (But figured I'd most likely get raped). Just use a decent hero support build like the 7 Hero Player Support build at PvX.

Aparantly you managed to make it, which if i had payed attention and read the thread would have saved me half an hour of looking on screenies/ watching a movie (actual movie not gw related, multitasking ftw).

So the lines beneath is for anyone who's doing it by themselves.

I did hnh (7h), cant recall if i used conset or not, i used summoning stone (which goes down after a little while, unless u use now available tengu flares which might be a huge buff).

Placement is everything in this quest (or was to me), I packed 1 war (me, tanking) x3 ranger spikes 1mm, ele (nuke, selectively on their eles > monks...), and monks.

The screenshot shows the placement.
1. Rangers (left side, mm close enough to keep minions down, ele right side, monk/s slightly behind).
2. Where you tank.
! Recall to pull aggro to where you want it.

I cant recall the builds, so ill have a look if i got a screeny i can upload somewhere. After 20 minutes i couldnt find any ss saved of it so the builds and proper composition of the party remains a blurr regarding precise details (might have been 1 or two monks 2-3 rangers and no builds saved).

Can't even recall if I did it in NM or HM or if it's even doable in HM, either way i "wiped" at the later mobs a couple of time and moved down again as the NPC's autores and took stand at the different NPC groups on the way to the castle, last mob i cleared at the actual castle on one char and down at the stairs (bottom stair at initial spot) with another.
