Default DOT damage weakness...?

I want to build a dot damage dealing pve character. However, I am concerned with the number of potential skeletons or undead that will be immune to a lot of duration over time conditions. For example, I think undead are immune to poison, disease, bleeding... and maybe some more stuff. Anyways, when I get to max level I will probably hang out where ever there is a higher chance to get more gold and more rare items. My question is will these areas have a large amount of undead which will be immune to my damage? or is there an abundance of high level areas, where I will be able to choose b/n several max level monsters? (one of which would probably have enemies that are not immune to those conditions) Thanks for the help guys. I really appreciate it.

I have played a necro based build since the Feb BWE and never not been able to cast life siphon on a foe. Sometimes I cannot exploit target corpses of the undead, but DoTs seem to always work, unless they are interupted, or removed.

Also, be aware that 10 arrows is the most you can stack on any one character.

Well, I think they changed it around because if you try to hit them with disease the game says they don't have flesh and can't be affected by that... or something along those lines. I also heard this applies to bleeding and posion as well but cannot confirm this. My real question is what are the areas like that have the highest level monsters? Are they all filled with undead or can I find some flesh to inflict conditions on?

Oh yeah and life siphon doesn't cause any of those conditions I was refering to, but I'm not using it so that doesn't help me any

The thing is though that even if you decide to go purely DoT then throwing hexes all the time means you have to use soulbarbs because you will almost double the total damage inflicted by each spell, and that means that overall affect wont be pure DoT death.

No, I don't have to use soul barbs. Actually I would only be using one hex, and I don't want soul barbs. I simply want to know what kind of enemies are in the highest monster level areas. I fear they will mostly be undead, which would make my potential build useless at that point. Can anyone verify what kind of monsters reside in the hardest areas? or about what percentage of undead there are in those places? Any estimate or attempted guess would be benefical. Thanks again.
