Hey, I'm pretty new to the game. I was just wondering:

I know it's prolly me, but I notice that my N/E gets his ass kicked in the Arena. Very rarely do I win. The only skills I have are all the ones from the pre-searing ascalon, so I have a limited variety from which to pick. But even then, it seems there "should" be a way I can get a good strat working...right?

Anyone got any tips?

Tip: Reroll (meaning start a new character).

And choose elementalist as your primary if you wan to be a Necro + Elementalist, there's no reason to choose Necro as the primary due to the fact, you gain virtually no use from the primary skill where as the Elementalist skill helps you alot.

I'm a N/E, and yeah, the only reason why I chose necro as the primary was for the looks and the concept.

If you only have the pre-searing skills then yeah, I think you're pretty much doomed because there weren't a whole lot that were decent... all I can recommend is that you cast aura of restoration first, life siphon at least 2 people for some health regen, and rely on vampiric gaze and vampiric touch to keep youself alive... maybe enfeeble those who try to melee you. I think firestorm takes too long to get out, and I'd rather use my energy stealing health.

I don't know if that's effective or not, because I didn't bother trying PvP with what little skills I had at the time.
