Default Elementalist Skills

My primary proffesion is an elemntalist and I am wondering what should i sepcialize in. I have alot of skill point not used yet and I dont know whereto put them in. I am thinking of only specializing in Fire and energy storage. Is there any suggestions in what should I do expecially if I were to play pvp?

Don't hold on to your skill points. Just use them and try it out. If you don't like it or get bored then move them around.

Attribute points shouldn't be saved, as they can be refunded.

Skill points *can* be saved if you want. Once you get to level 20, you get skill points through experience, so don't worry about it if you buy them all. If you see a skill that you know you aren't going to use, don't bother to get it.

Fire is generally a better way to go for PvE, not PvP as the better Fire spells have longish casting times (and so mean you have to stand still, and that you are open to being interrupted) and are usually AoEs (and you can't force an opponent to cluster in PvP like you can in PvE).

Depending on your play style, you really could go any way. If you like doing lots of damage, go for air/lightening (esp. nice against the ever popular w/mo). If you prefer to mess up your oppnents w/ slows, etc, go for water, and if you would like to buff your group and get some nice interrupts go for earth.

As others have said: skill points are used to buy skills from the trainer and capture signets. Some quests, all missions, and gaining a lvl's worth of exp (you still gain exp after you've capped) will get you a skill point. Attribute points are awarded every lvl and in two quests for a max of 200. You gain refund points to a max of 24 so that you can shuffle your points around. Sick of Fire, take all 12 and move them to earth and you've probably got refund points left. You gain refund points independant of your lvl gain. It's easy to respec this way many times between each lvl after 10 or so b/c you will be gaining way more refund points than 24 before you lvl again.
