plz help, short question about Zealots Fire
It says that it is triggered "whenever you use a skill on an ally" Well, thats simple enough, for skills like heal other it is self explanitory that enemies near the healed ally will take damage.
But what about skills that are not specifically targeted? Like Aegis. It affects everyone, but Im not really casting it on any specific ally. Does Aegis count as casting a spell on every single ally? Of so... then would every single enemy near any of my part members become struck by zealots fire? If an enemy is near two of my party members at once, would he take the damage twice? (one for each member)
Just making sure, but if this works for stuff like Aegis, would it work for stuff like "Watch Yourself!"? It should, but Im just askin to be sure.

Yeah, I'm also wondering this. Also, does zealot's fire activate on every party member when you use Heal Party? I doubt that's the case though, otherwise we'd be getting builds that focus solely on spamming mutliple-ally-effect spells and nuking everything with zealot's fire.

I'm not sure if aegis will make it fire, but, whenever you cast zealot's fire on an ally (or yourself), that particular ally has to be the target of your spells or else it does nothing. You don't cast it on yourself and then start casting spells on other allies, you have to target whoever has the enchantment.

No you don't. Zealot's Fire is a self only enchantment.
I haven't ever used ZF in conjunction with Aegis, but I do know that a similar enchantment, Divine Boon, triggers on yourself each time you cast Aegis, but no one else.
Similarly, I've never used ZF with Heal Party, but Divine Boon fires on everyone after you cast Heal Party, so it's logical that ZF would as well.

I don't think it gets triggered when you use most beastmastery skills for the ranger (beastial pounce, comfort animal, call of protection, etc.). Well, I certainly couldn't tell either way when I tried testing it. Can anyone else confirm?

Thanks all for helping.
Zealots Fire says "whenever you use a skill on an ally", so its logical that pet attacks and arrow shots dont trigger it.
Single target spells like orison f healing will hit each enemy near your target with fire damage.
Based on the information related to Divine Boon, I think that if you use a skill that affects the entire party, only monsters near you are affected. This actually makes sense because the heal party animation is the same as the orison-of-healing-on-self animation.
