any sugestions on how to improve this build
heres my mo/r17 build (which is funny cuz i dont have any ranger attribites, weapons, or skills active)i was just wondering if anyone has suggestions about different skills, weapons, armor, or such. to make my monk better. I am a healer/smiter(heehee sounds funny) I LOVE watchful spirit. saves my ass bunches when in a bind that extra 144HP gives me time to recharge my energy while running away from baddies (when the rest of my party is dead.)
One thing I can suggest to to other monks is dont get to caught up in enchantments that slow energy recharge, look for ones that heal your fighters instead. Some even deal damage back to the enemy(heehee mark one up for the good guys). Also look at what the level of your party is, level 16 and above, have around 400 hp. Wait untill your whole party is all around half before you cast heal party. If a few members are dangerously low use heal other instead (it uses 10 EN instead of the 15 EN with heal party) it's also harder to disrupt. Healing seed is another one of my favorites. throw it on a member who is taking a beating and watch it climb while your energy recharges. As you can see I am pretty much a straight monk .I do not have anything ranger about me although the ranger did help get me where I am today ( the pet was a great help in keeping me safe) healing prayers 9+1, smiting prayers 7+2, divine favor 9+1 weapons smiting rod light damage 11-22, damage +20%/divine symbol- energy +10, ac +4(while casting) smiting rod light damage 5-10, +10%damage with health>50%, energy +3 with health >50%, damage +20%/focus energy+10 req. 8 healing prayers smiting staff energy+8, light damage10-17, health +11, ac +4 vs elemental damage, damage +20% Skills (most ones i keep active) a few i swap out denoted by* Heal party, heal other, healing seed, smite*, bane signet*, watchful spirit, resurrect, rebirth. armor prophet scalp design AC 30, divine favor +1, improves healing prayers(+1 to healing prayers) ascetics chest design AC 51, energy +8, increase max health Censors hand wraps AC 51, energy +4, smiting prayers +1, -50 health, AC +10 vs physical attack ascetics leg design AC 51, energy +2, smiting prayers +1, energy recharge +1 ascetics foot design AC 51, energy +1, increase max health, energy recharge +1 My HP=400, and my Energy is 48, Ok about all the P and M'ing about monks, I love the challenge of a monk, It does make me quite upset when people log out of missions because they are distraught, or they keep rushing from one battle to another, with no reguard to your energy level, or they want energy recharge slowing enchantments cast on them. Whatever the case, I always try to do the best job possible, I am currently in the crystal desert, and just went from the oasis to the rock(we took the scenic route) LOL and we made it without losing the whole party and i only rezzed teammates 3 times. They all thanked me for doing so, and on more than one occasion I got slapps on the back and "atta girls'" (which made me blush) I was the only monk period. No secondary monks, just me, and no I didn't get us through without loss of life, but we made it as a team and that my friends is the point. It's a co-operative effort. If you get stuck with a shitty group turn off your chat, and do the best you can. You agreed to come along, adventuring is just that, an adventure you never know what to expect. But when you are in a kick ass group it can be awe inspiring.REMEMBER THAT Enough ranting, LoL. My game name is Qui Gen, look me up I game primarily with another female, and her brother. We are a pretty kick ass 3 some. We are polite, experienced, and if we like you may even help you get that new armor with money or materials, or give you a weapon we cant use even though its worth 147 gold. We have also helped others progress in the storyline. We've redone quests just so people could get to new areas some of them we didn't even gain EXP at all. We just like to play smart and have a good time.
