Its a brilliant Idea, I though of it myself too.
Cast Bathazar aura on the 8 monks and then Symbol of wrath then Shield of Judgement.
8 Max Balathazar aura = 25 daamge for 10 seconds thus 250 dmg in 10 sec. Multiply by 8 = 1700dmg in 10sec ! HOLY SHIET, then add that with symbol of wrath, you can bring that any group in 5 seconds!

Actually played with a guild that had somewhere along the lines of 5-6 monks not including myself, most of which were apparently smiters. Unfortunately, I didn't get to play long, as my computer chose a horrible time to crash
Anyway, the damage from the first 2 rounds was pretty scattered, as discouragements were set on the monk under focus fire, so they'd have to switch, repeat, switch, and they eventually just gave up on coordination. Past that, I didn't get to see >.<

If they all cast zealots fire, then rapidly spam draw conditions (5 mana, 1/4 sec cast time, no cooldown) on whichever monks get approached by the enemy... that might be funny.

Way too many problems with a group build like this. While there are some situations where you're going to fight idiots that bunch together, more often than not, you'll be screwed by Panic, Well of the Profane, any spot enchantment removal, any energy denial, any spike damage, or any good healing (IE, seed or hands will completely counter this build).

Well, this would work vs unprepared teams and most wouldn't be for this I don't think as getting rid of all the enchants is easy on all 8 monks. Of course, if chillbains was along heh.

One well of the profane, one chillblains, a few spot on enchant removals, just survive the 3 or 4 remaining auras, and play the energy denial game with ease. 25 energy is a lot when someone is keeping you under 5.
