i cant seem to find the arena at henge either...

All of the old arenas were combined, so that you now play through a rotation of maps instead of the same one over and over. Arenas now all use the same meeting place - one of the islands out of Lion's Arch for random arena, and off of Droknar's Forge for arranged arena.

You'll end up in the Denravi arena through the rotation either way.

They probably did it as a consolidation move. You're more likely to have an active arena is by pulling all the players together rather than smaller groups scattered around. Makes for a more diverse player pool. Besides, the only criteria for entering a level is that you're not greater than level X for any given arena.

Of course this can make for some disparity in play, but we already have that in the other arenas if a level 10 guy gets armor from the crystal desert and goes to ascalon just to pick on the inexperienced.
