Area of effect stuff that you are smart enough to move out of. He's pretty stupid.

What i did is use aura of restoration before i went in, casted meteor storm right away, firestorm, then meteor, then fireball, then spam flare... and move away if he's casting meteor storm or meteor..
i killed him in around 20 seconds. i almost died, but thats because it took me 5 seconds to find my "c" button on the keyboard to target him -_-;;
you might want to cast fire attunement also before you go in.

what he says. Just unload everything on him right off. Starting with meteor shower, which will interrupt his cast. Followed by firestorm, then fire ball, then any other bigg spell you can think off, you can fire from range. If youg et too close he pulls a big axe, which is not good.

I went in with Blinding Flash, Enervating Charge and Air Atunement. Nothing else.
I kept him blind with Blinding Flash and reduced the damage that got through with Enervating charge. I cast Enervating charge as often as I could and otherwise just hit him with my staff.
Killed him just short of the timelimit for the bonus and I had more than half my health when he died.

Here was my stargety E/Me (no me skills)
I had flare, fire rain, metor shower, phoenix, one of the close range fire radius, fire attument, glyph of engery
Your evil twin will be try to kill you by slow high damage cost spells, I just casted metor shower then waited for his aoe to fire then side steap blasting. You evil twin loves long casting aoe spells. Just side step then blast with flare.

I beat him barely with my geomancer by just using my normal skill set minus the healing ones

With my aeromancer, I filled the left with useless hexes that reduced enemy speed (There's like 4 of them!) and then put pacifism and healing breeze on the right. He would sit there making sure I was nice and slow, and I would run up to him and chip away at his health until he starts attacking. When my health gets low, pacifism and heal. He doesn't heal himself in this situation, either.

Exactly. I never even had to move. I just stood there and cast a bunch of spells.

I would have to agree. It extremely easy vs Elementalist doppelgangers. It took me about 15 seconds to finish the fight.
So true

That is why I needed 2 tries :/
He had the same idea as me and his meteor shower came off just little bit faster
But the second time I just kept moving until his meteor shower missed me and then I stayed and meteored/fire rained the hell out of him
