Hammer Haft for PvP
Hey there Gang,
I've been consider as to -what- sort of Hammer Haft my Knockdown W/E should use for PvP. While the obvious solution would be an elemental haft, that seems pointless since the primary target of knockdown warriors are -casters-, who have additional protections against elemental damage in their armor.
The Vampiric is out of the question, since I'm not a W/Mo, and lack exciting things like Mending to offset the drain - the only solution is -possibly- Zealous, but with the slow speed of the hammer, that doesn't seem great either.
So then, i'm back to Fiery or Shocking - but will I wind up doing -less- damage to casters overall with those hafts? Any input would be appreciated.
- Best Regards,
TheMarvin

Personally i like using the ele hafts that I've unlocked for pvp. if its your RPG character then I would stick with the blunt dmg your hammer has. If u have two hammers then simple add a ele haft to one and leave one the same then with ur weapon sets u can switch. easier if a really anoying warrior is bothering you so u can switch to ele dmg to not activate the physical resistace of the armor

I'd go with zealous. Together with frenzy (which you should use cautiously), it can give you a real nice boost to your energy. Bring a fiery or shocking backup weapon in case you need to do non-physical damage or trigger some spell effects.

I would suggest using that Vampiric haft. A max haft has a life stealing of 5 and life degen of 1, so my guess is that it should still be worth it. But keep a non-vampiric hammer on switch in case you get blinded, or are in a ward.
Don't worry about the health degen in PvP, because as a Warrior you won't be targeted until it's over anyway.

You'd actually run Mending, a shit skill, just to counter 1 pip of pitiful health drain?

Zealous is still better than the 1 pip as long as you're attacking. You can swap weapons, you know?

If you don't know what to take, take +adrenaline or +armor penetration.

Excellent ideas from everyone - i'll keep it in mind. I'm not unsuccessful in PvP as it stands - fairly high rank and tons of faction points... I'm just considering how to make myself -better-. Thanks for everyone's input. And naturally, if anyone has anything else to add, please do so. I'll post my experiences here as well.
