N/W in PvP killing warriors? Yes
I looked around here for tips on a N/W and it seems that nobody respects them. I think I would like to keep it that way but if you're nuts enough to try one you might be surprised. If people knew what a threat I can be they may start attacking me but I'm willing to risk that.
The reason I made my N/W build the way I did was to counter W/Mos. Now, I'm not here to bash the W/Mo build at all, I have one and I love him, for PvE. I tried to do PvP with him and found myself getting spanked by a Necro. I had already made this silly N/W because it was considered to be a bad idea and I don't like to do things the "right way." So I payed attention to the skills that necro used and took note of what really annoyed me as a warrior. First of all, mending, works great, as long as nobody strips it so as a necro job #1 is strip that off. Next I follow up with a boat load of curses and then start to drain and steal life. I use insidious parasite, punishes the warrior for attacking and heals me. Next I follow up with its big brother, spiteful spirit, once again, punishes warrior for attacking but also is AOE so if there are 2 warriors I get to hurt them both at the same time.
Finally I finish up with life siphon, suffering, and vamperic gaze. Usually after killing a warrior once with that combo he comes after me right away instead of the monk, but with his dp he's easy prey for a 2nd death.
Here are the attributes I use and skills I use:
Blood Magic 12 (10 +2)
Death Magic 1 (had one point leftover and nothing better to do with it)
Soul Reaping 9 (wish I my rune would have salvaged)
Curses 10 (9 +1)
Swordsmanship 6 (I'm thinking of switching to axe)
Tactics 6
Skills:
Vamperic Gaze
Spiteful Spirit
Life Siphon
Insidious Parasite
Watch Yourself (Need the armor boost when I go toe to toe and helps out the monk when getting pounded)
Suffering
Strip Enchantment
Rez Signet
So, my role in PvP is stay back by the monk and stop the warriors from killing him. Since most warriors seem to like to attack the monk this works out well for me. I do my damage and nobody notices that it was me and when its all said and done they tell everyone else on my team what a good job they did and nobody is the wiser that I'm a major pain. Please post any other odd ball builds that do well against some "staple builds."

So they don't notice that it's you when you're the only necro and they look up to see life siphon, insidious parisite...they don't notice they're taking damage from it whenever they're attacking...and they don't notice that you're the only caster running around pouding their skulls in with a big sword?
I had a N/W, I really enjoyed it. At least I did until they all found out what I did and I got 3 warriors on my every time we fought.

Handy little N/W build for arenas. Your team's warriors will love you for order of the vampire, too. For best results, equip +20% enchanting weapon upgrade and use sword or axe with non-elemental damage. Watch as your shadow damage and life-stealing punch right through their armor, and their silly mending/healing breeze is easily countered by strip enchantment, keeping you alive at the same time. Enjoy.
