Is it just me, or is the new Tomb mission hard?
In one recent update, they changed the mission that lets you into the Tomb battles so that you're fighting a team of "Unworthy" fighters instead of just mobs of undead. Now, I don't know about you guys, but for some reason this is considerably more difficult. I don't know, maybe it's just that all the parties I've been in so far didn't understand what "call target" means, or maybe it's just harder, but I haven't been able to get into the Tomb arenas since the update.

Not sure, I havn't been in there since before update, but if it's making it so that only groups who know how to play can get in, then good, not saying your bad, probably just bad groups. Anyway, I'll have to try it out

No. It's perfectly reasonable as is. In fact, ArenaNet should probably add another monk, just to get those last hench teams out of Tombs forever.
Yes, I saw a team composed of 2 or 3 guys and many henchmen in the TvTvTvTvTvT map.

My only real complaint about the new method is how it favors overly aggressive teams, not defensive strategies. Since your morale and starting seed depend upon how quickly you kill the ghosts, a build that just steamrolls bad teams is going to get a much higher seed than one that wears down their opponents.
Of course this is mostly moot as killing your opponent's ghost in the first round gives everyone their 10% morale bonus.
Peace,
-CxE

It's harder, but it's doable. I have no problem with it.

If you cant beat the mobs in the first stage you will get slaughtered in tombs.

I liked the last mission better... This one just favors spike groups WAY too much. What about strategies that centralize around outlasting your oponent rather than spiking them?

If you can't beat them, don't bother going into Tomb.

I have no problem with them, I've figured out that all the groups I've had since the update were absolute ****. None of them knew what I meant when I called targets. None of them even bothered calling targets! >_<

they are fairly easy with a good team and it cuts down on some of the spirit spam builds in HoH but i think my favorite guild to win HoH recently was " Bring Back the Rifts"[Plz]
Bring Back the Rifts have just won a battle in the Hall of Heroes.

I think that the new mission was designed to cut down on the defensive groups, since the game goes on for so long when they're in the tombs (especially if there are 2 or 3 in the 6 way FFA). The last 2 Ranger teams that I was on made it through though, usually with 4% morale, so I don't think it's too bad.
The biggest problem is getting the first monk down. After that it's easy.

I guess I need to start getting better groups then. I can't stand how stupid most people are these days. In Tombs and they don't even know what call target means! Hopefully I can get a good group of rangers together and we can get in.

Oh I'll get slammed for saying this, but seeing as how I'm usually positive, I deserve this... people are stupid these days because all the folks who never could figure out PvE have finally made it to tombs after months, or are just discovering they can make a PvP character for Tombs. There can be no other explanation for the idiocy I see in Tombs these days. It's like a bad horror movie, 'Hey gang... let's split up!'. It's to the point now where I just play a mesmer instead of a monk, because if it's gonna suck, I want to at least ruin someone's day.

I like it because if I get in a PuG that can't beat the unworthies, I have saved myself time.
