I've posted several times on the subject in other areas. I've learned my lesson. Notice my above post:
Quote:
This build is the only one I've found to work. Everytime I beat my Mirror in 35 seconds Flat:
Attributes
11 +1 Divine Favor.
10 +1 Smite
8 +1 Healing
Skills
Breeze (Mirror doesn't use Breeze)
Bane Signet (smite spell uses no energy)
Balthazar's Spirit (give you energy when attacked)
Divine Boon (adds to heal)
Retribution (33% return dmg when attacked)
Weapons
Rod or Staff 10 to 21 dmg. OR something in that range.
Lots of points into smite. Divine Boon, Balthazar, and Retribution are all Enchantments. Put them on before you go into battle. Skip the cut scene. Boon and Breeze keep you alive. Balthazar's give you plenty of energy. Retribution and Bane kill him.
Use Breeze as necessary.
This build uses all Monk spells. Doesn't mater what secondary you have.

my mo/me was easy, healing breeze, symbol of wrath, bane signet and banish used no mesmer skills and it was easy enough. But I would say it was the hardest out of all the other classes.

But it isn't hard. I beat it in 35 seconds flat. What's hard about that?

skeeo, you're a monk/ele right? have you heard of the spell "iron mist"? equip that one spell on your bar and i guarantee you'll win 99% of the time. actually any class with ele as primary or secondary can use this strategy and win with no problem whatsoever =)
the mirror will keep on casting this spell and you'll be immune to any damage. equip a ranged weapon and you'll beat the mirror no matter what within a minute =)

With my second character that i ascended (MO/R) , i used symbol of wrath and reversal of fortune. I never took any healing spells.
The timer nearly ran out though..maybe 90 seconds left i think it was.

Breeze has now been fixed. Or at least AI uses it a bit more now.

I beat it quickly using the zealot's fire/ divine boon trick. My skills as a monk/necro were dark pact (for the sacrifice life), zealots fire, divine boon and healing breeze. I ran in, did healing breeze, did zealots fire, then stood next to him as I spammed divine boon on myself.

I just used my secondary class (ranger). Brought 6 nature rituals, Kindle Arrows, and something else.... don't remember what.
I got 30 free seconds of attack as the mirror cast all 6 rituals, some of which buffed me up.
I had alot of trouble with this as monk; don't hesitate to use your secondary.
I've heard that if you just heal yourself the whole time, you win (as in, you win as long as you don't die), but I haven't done it myself. I can't guarntee it works.

Just beat my mirror as a Mo/R by screwing with the silly AI.
I loaded my entire bar with spirits and traps, and added
Bane Signet,Divine Boon and Retribution
What does the AI do? It starts dropping all the traps and spirits, nice long delay there [same as previous post i guess]. I start off with Retrib and Bane.
I used Divine Boon to heal [just spam it on yourself :P]. The AI obviously will not do this so it never got healed.
Oh and brought a 10-12 staff for some damage, the mirror had a bow doing 80 damage per hit against me though. (which mean maxing out smiting + having retribution = hurt ai ALOT more than it can hurt me witrh my little old staff]

If your referring to me then I think it was about minute. Not as efficient as the ones mentioned before in this thread but I coudln't get those to work (maybe it's because I was level 18, but I doubt it).
Just remember, if your using the zealots fire technique, take off divine boon after you use up your mana to keep mana coming fast.

This isnt as hard as you people are making it look.
Easy to abuse AI faults:
- Doesnt move out of AoE
- Ignores conditional hexes
- Casts useless skills
- Will not use various spells to heal itself
Exploiting any of those can win it for you. The fastest win I've seen was by backfiring illusion of weakness.

My strategy with monk primary was simple.
Balthazar's aura
Symbol of Wrath
Zealot's Fire
Divine Boon
cast balthazar's, symbol of wrath, and zealot's fire in quick sucession. Spam divine boon until he dies. Other slots were filled with useless spells.

Elementalist (Primary or secondary)
Take the attunements.
Don't bother using 'em.
Take 3 spells. Glyph of Lesser Energy, Meteor Shower, and Firestorm.
Easy 14-17sec kill.
Monk (primary or secondary)
Guardian (the spammable protection that'll keep you taking barely any damage at all.)
Zealot's Fire
Blessed Signet
Retribution
Mesmer
All of the elemental mantras
Use Backfire and Empathy, and watch him own himself.
