Absorption Rune
Quick question for the Absorption Rune that can probably be answered in one post and that is - Does it matter on which piece of armor you apply the absorption rune to, or should it be put on the chest since that is the area mostly attacked? I assumed it worked similar to the vigor rune whereas it applied to the whole body, but I could be mistaken. Would appreciate if someone would let me know if it matters. ^_^ Thanks so much.

Same with 1 peice of knights armor so you should usually put in boots because it's hit least and provides least energy if you use glads everywhere else, along with gloves but many wars use stonefist gloves.

So if you take one piece of Knight's armour, the damage reduction applies the same over the entire body? What if you take more than once piece, does the damage reduction stack?

What's "dstock"? Do you mean stack?
There's no question about stacking. The original question was "if you apply an absorption rune to one part of your armour, does it only affect that area?" Each part of your armour only has a certain percent to get hit in melee. So the question was that if you have an absorption rune on your boots and you get hit in the torso, does it reduce damage for the torso? The answer is yes.
My question wasn't about runes. It was about the damage reduction for the armour. I assumed that Knight's boots only affected the boots (giving only your feet damage reduction should you be hit there), but MCS's post seems to contradict this. I asked for clarification.

Additional pieces of Knight's will not stack upon itself. Therefore any more than one piece of Knight's will not be useful.
The best setup I've heard is to use Knight's boots, Stonefist Gauntlets (for hammer tanks only), +1 mastery helm, gladiator's for remaining.

runes and the knight/ascalon armor will stack together
put on boots of knight/ascalon and put another absorption in your chest (it gets hit the most)
