After looking at all the green numbers of all skills and doing some math I introduce the skills "ascension numbers": It says how high your attribute should be for each skill and it shows how "spikey" that skill is
Just check the "from-to" numbers of skills here and calculate:
Ascension number = (second-first)/(first+second)*18
When a skill has more than one green number you have to calculate the average of them.
without the "*18" you would just get a range from 0 to 1 (telling how fast the green numbers ascend relatively to a higher skill-atribute).
Its just there to fit the atribute maximum wich is ~16-20 (!!) depending on class and equipment.
Just keep that in mind when comparing necro skills or ele skills with other skills that can never reach 20!
The higher the ascension number, the more "spiky" is the skill and thoose are liked to do "spikes" (but the game is more).
The lower the ascension-number the better is this skill for the secondary class, or just for "general support".
sortig skills by ascension numbers:
in the attatchment is a .html list that sorts all skills by their ascension number (most are not accurate)...
Now if you use a skill and your attribute-points in the attribute of the skill are WAY off the ascension-number of the skill, you might think about changing the build.
Ascension numbers ignore good combos and they also ignore how many skills of the same atribute you use (like attunements and most elites, that have a low ascension number) so your combos might overweight the lack of ascension-number matching.
