Blasty's illusionary warrior?What do u think
R/Me
Expertise 10
Illusion magic 12
Wilderness Survival 8
Gear-
sword/energy plus item
druids armor/any mask
OK i bet u will take one look and say what a noob think again.
Heres the skill lay out and placed in the best order for battle.
1.illusion of weakness/2.illusionary weapon/3.lightning reflexs/4.conjure phantasm/5.serpents quickness/6.quickened zephyr/7.troll unguent/8.imagined burden
What u do is go out in the arena and find a good place to put your spirit and use illusion of weakness. The spirit is for your lightning reflexs we will talk about that later. Go out and chose your target use illusionary weapon and use lightning reflexs to attack faster. Since lightning reflexs has a 60sec recharge use serpents quickness plus the spirit will recharge that sucker fast. When fighting if have energy or wanted use phantasm on your enemy for a bleed like drain. If they run use imagined burden and when hurt use troll unguent. Keep the process going u should find out that lightning reflex beats flurry anyday. I hope u like this build plz try it yourself and post back with comments tell truth.

Why are you using a Ranger primary...
Lightning reflexes blows, even with zephyr. Flurry works with IW since your dps isn't lowered and you can keep it up 100% of the time. Mes primary is best for more IW dmg.
Really though, any mesmer with Shatter E is going to own you flat; many of them do have it. You need at least some kind of chafe to make a rend the only way to remove it in arena. Though honestly IW is just a fun gimmick and isn't worthwhile outside of arena.

yes if a mes has shatter e and they see you casting IW or are hit by it they WILL use it on you. Your only advantage is that the stupid class setup you picked for it will hide it somewhat; when you see Me/W in arenas you think IW user but not when you see R/Me.
I can assure you I won't like this build and that I don't need to try it to be sure on that. There aren't many builds that you can't determine whether they're good or bad without actually playing them and this definitely isn' one of those special ones. Considering when I do play a warrior in arena with friends I'd do well over double the dps your guy would I have no reason to think I'd like the build.

A. This is the wrong forum.
B. He's right about Lightning Reflexes. Tiger's Fury, Frenzy, and Flurry are all world better with Illusionary Weaponry. Flurry is generally the stance of choice since the -25% damage doesn't affect IW.
C. My own R/Me IW build is in the build forums, and you can see all the bad things people had to say about that (myself included).

well, you will be doing more damage in some cases, but the reason IW is appealing to most people is that its not affected by armor or enchantment or anything, its just 42 damage. (i kno there are a few cases where this isnt true)
and also, back to the original build, as a primary ranger, you wont have enough energy to cast all you spells.
and of course, being ranger primary, IW's damage wont be maxed out

He has 44 energy and 3 pips of regen (or 45, I keep mixing it up with the new druids set). With Zephyr he'll definitely run dry, but without it should be fine - Zephyrs a waste of a Skillslot anyway, if anything switch to Beastmastery + a BM spirit.
Also, Illusion of Weakness qualifys as a chafe/mask. You could always add visage if you want more than one layer, but the costs do get a tad restrictive.

Illusion of Weakness as a chaff won't work at all after the very first casting of it. Enchants and hexes are stacked, not queued, meaning they are last in, first out. When you cast IWeap, its going on top of illusion of weakness, so it'll get shattered/drained first instead of weakness.
