Detailed Monster Stats
I was brainstorming a build today when I got to thinking, it would be much easier to plan my attacks in PvE if I knew exactly how much damage I would need to dish out to a particular enemy in order to kill it.
Following that mindset I started searching for monster stats (Base HP, Base Energy, Common Skills Used, etc.) I found all of ABSOLUTELY NOTHING on this topic. I was amazed. Is guild wars so new that this just hasn't been covered yet?
Do any of you know of a good site / resource / archive of monster statistics?
Does the PRIMA Guild Wars Guide cover any of these statistics?
Would any of you find an archive like this useful?
Sure, this seems like a geeky way of playing... I mean, who wants to look at numbers when you've got all those pretty graphics. Fair arguement but hey, I'm a programmer and a DnD fan so I came to grips with my geekdom many moons ago.

I asked about this awhile back and got no replies. Considering the depth of knowledge about skills and quests and strategy that abounds here, I'm surprised I don't see some resource where you look at the mission/quest/zone you're about to enter and see a list of mobs there, what skills/spells they use, resistance to/weakness to a certain element, and more. As an elementalist it would be helpful to me to know more than in a general sense to bring winter to the Ring of Fire; how about what armor set to wear where, or what element should be used or not used somewhere.
Is anyone working on such a project? I'd help if there were.

Most research is going into PvP related stuff. I think the publication contains much of this moster info.

Yea, the Prima guide has some info on all the monsters, including:
Professions for Each One
Level of Each One
Armor Level of Each one
Skills
And Special Qualities
As for Health, monsters also have 20 life per level, given exceptions being bosses, level 0s, and certain monsters (for those certains it tells you the health, i.e Bladed Aatxes have 940 life) It also tells the physcial damage they deal on some monsters, i.e Bladed Aatxes do 68-100.

Cool. I was hoping the guide would have something like that. Looks like I'll be picking it up after all. I couldn't justify spending the money on the map alone.

>>> Bladed Aatxes do 68-100.
Hmmmph. Base damage, perhaps, but what is their Strike Level? Normally this is 5 times Attribute Level for a melee attack, so I wonder what their Attribute is considered to be...
If 16, then they do 4 times that (before armor).

Well, since when does a gaming community make do with what the strat guide gives us, and since when has one of those pre-made strat guides been as good as what the community does itself? I see complete pve maps and collector locations and boss locations all over the place, it would seem a good idea to make such a list on the forum, as it would be the kind of information that forums such as this exist to make. I'm rather surprised there isn't any sense of importance in this. Guess I'll have to start compiling this stuff myself.
