Elementalist strategies for beating mirror self?
I'm having real problems beating my mirror self, (E/N, fire) I can't even get close. I had no trouble w my warrior (1st caharacter). Any suggestions of what to do or what nor to do please?

Load up on sacrefice skills, and dont use them, make sure that you pack all sacrefice skills and ittl kill himself.

Not knowing much about the Necro class I can't agree/disagree with miskav - but it sounds like a good start.
I'm a near expert ele (3 builds of Ele - Air/Fire/Warding). Definitely equip skills/spells that (a) don't heal (b) don't harm you and have no realistic use for this situation....preferably costly ones. Although my first ele was a firenuker, I put a few points into Air while doing my mirror. Equipped Gale, Whirlwind & Flare as my only attack spells....the rest were pointless secondary "non-dmg, non-healing" skills. The key is when the cutscene is done, target + gale, this knocks em down, then you move in close. It will probably Gale you back when it stands up, then you whirlwind dmg+kd, then flare, flare,flare,flare,whirlwind etc. It will go down easily. |

Mine was absolute cake as an Ele.
The mirror is too dumb to move out of AoE's. Use that to your advantage. hint: maelstrom |

Firestorm, move out of the one the mirror casts. Meteorstorm, move out of the one the mirror casts. Repeat if mirror isn't dead.

I beat my ele mirror on my first try. Just meteor showered and immolated him. Killed him in 17 sec. BTW, when he's dead, I only have 17 health and still on fire.

Bring Iron mist ONLY... start attacking him, alt-tab, go make a coffee, come back, ur done
or, as said.. use meteor shower... dodge his... he wont dodge yours.. gg |
