ShadowKnight Build
Im very new to this game (just bought it saturday)
Ive been tooling around with tons of different builds, and ideas. Ive landed on one i think i like, and want some feedback, on those who have more experience in the game.
The basics is a "shadowknight" or in Guildwars terms a Warrior / Necromancer combo. Has anyone played this type of build before? and if so can you speak to its viability in PvP and/or PvE.
My ideas was to go heavy bloodmagic for the life taps and heals, and go Strength / Swords for the melee portion. So what you would have is a self sustaining (to some extent, this is where im shaky cause i dont know much on game mechanics yet) tank that deals decent dmg in close combat.
thoughts?

W/N is underestimated in pvp/pve.
In pve, it's probably better but I'd never place my warrior's energy pool anywhere near Blood Magic. It's too much energy for too little gain. You want shadow? Curses Barbs and Mark of Pain deals shadow damage to a single or many targets. Damage which ignores armor...
Some would argue that Strip Enchantment from Blood Magic is good. To me, it's a joke. I've noticed it's easy to use on idiots who use only one enchant, but when the enemy spams enchantments on themselves and Nature's Renewal isn't on either team, then Rend Enchantments is the bomb.
If you go blood magic, you might notice that it works quite well early game due to low hp totals, but I'm telling you, come late game, you'll want more. Unless you find a way to punch your energy up somehow.

I'm later in the game right now, and I find Blood Magic more and more useless.. Healing Signet does the same, but more effective.. Death magic is to hard on energy, curses is the way to go.. But make sure u use the Gladiator's armor later in the game..

I have a newly started W/N aswell and warrior is a new profession to me, at the start of the game i loved blood, it renewed me faster than mobs could lower my hp; i loved it. But now when i'm as early in the game as up in the mountains i get owned constantly, blood doesn't help me, period.
From what i'm seeing here and from what i can tell of the skill list, curses is the way to go when it comes to "What you get for your sp", but i'd love to get some feedback on what warrior skills to use. I prefer swords so any help would be apreciated.
