Default Question about Call of Haste

Call of haste makes YOUR animal companions attack faster and move faster.
However, does "YOUR" mean allies pets as well, or just your pet in particular?

Example; 2 rangers with pets on your team, does your shout make both pets faster and attack faster or just your pet?

Thanks

I don't know, but because the skill description says "animal companions" it may well affect allied animals because you can only have one animal companion.

Unless they count undead minions as animal companions in which case I need to go change my Necro's secondary class...

judging by the wording i'd assume it means all animal companions on your team would benefit from it. just as some shouts can affect everyone in a certain range, i believe this does as well.

Call of Haste did not affect allied pets last time I tested, only your pets. The only pet shout that works on all allied pets is Otyugh's Cry.

EDIT: fixed

Not true. By using Otyughs cry you can have Multiple animal compains. These compains WILL be effected by call of haste, Call of protection etc.

So it only works on the pets of the ranger that shouted, thats all. so if a 4v4 team were trying to utilize it, all 4 would need the shout

Call of HAste is for your Pet ONLY! Description has tricked many.

Yes, in special cases many animals (Otughs).

At beastmastery 12. Your level 20 pet will do 14.5 Damage per second to a target, versus 10.6 without CoH. Another advantage is that your pet gets to the target faster. However, it seems that with Call of Haste the pet seems to draw more enemies, which is a good thing!! But I could be wrong about that part.

But definetly, yes YOUR pet only!

Ratatass, you seem to have some fairly detailed knowledge on Pet Damage... are you getting this from your own research or do you have a source?

I'm just asking because I've been curious about Pets and their attacks etc.

Does anyone know why Revive Animal is broken?

I had my Beast Mastery at 12, and the skill description said it raised the animals at 400 and something health.... but when I raised them they were at about 15% health.

Either the skill is broken or pets have 3,000 max health.

Shrapnel - It's been discussed before on this forum. There was a huge pet wide study done on damage, AL, attack speed, etc. Basically, they're all the same. Only the evolution differentiates between the damage outputs. This means, the elder widows do more damage than the other pets, simply because of the 'elder' evolution. An elder wolf would have comparable damage to the widow. At 12 BM I believe a pet does 15-28 dmg, (same as a bow), every 2 seconds, which equals 10.x dps. Call of Haste adds a little.

Anti-Zero - I think it's been broken for some time. I guess Anet decided a decent skill in the BM line might be useful, and gave it a nice swing with the nerf bat.

One question I've had for a while is, on the pet study a while back, pet AL was said to be determined by your BM level. If so, would a 16 BM ranger have a pet with 80 AL, or just 60?

Yes as a matter of fact I do.

I have conducted some tests, but the guy at Gwonline tested it much more scientificly and came up with some numbers that were actuall about only 1 DPS off. I am sure you are aware of the fact that all pets have the same damage output. Also the special attacks you see except the Elder Widow are just fake. Your Bear doesn't Maul, just looks like it.

Let me get some time to dig it up. I think it is posted in this forum as well. On Gwonline, tests were taken, (ill do some diggin for ya)...with Pet damage from Pets, where they found the Elder Widow to be the only pet with higher critical, higher dps...fractional...

Well, search function down on gwonline at the moment.

I will PM you as soon as I get it. I am at work now. Too bad I can't access IRC anymore...kinda miss the gwbot etc.
