I have seen countless posts on the monk/warrior build and to be honest with u guys, i actually tried it and found that it worked great. The problem is, it took so much of the fun out of playing the game! I found that if i put in the time and the money, my main character was more than capable of doing everything that build could do and more!

I personally am using these builds: elementalist/mesmer for nuking
elementalist/monk for underworld
elementalist/ranger for other farming areas!

i have over 1 million experience on this character and found out that i can do almost anything. I can farm every area of the game with almost no problem.

I'll show u guys a few key strategies...
for Ele/mes: echo nuker...

for this build i bring as weapons.artifacts the two from collectors...
i bring METEOR SHOWER, FIRE STORM, RODGORTS INVOCATION, IMMOLATE, GLYPH OF ELEMENTAL POWER, ELEMENTAL ATTUNEMENT, FIRE ATTUNEMENT, AND ECHO!!

this build rocks for overall power. first i cast fire attunement (60 sec duration) then i use ele attunement ( 45 sec duration). I use glyph of elemental for a lev 18 nuke, then i use echo, then fire storm, then glyph again, then the next fire storm(from echo) for a lev 18 fire storm...then i use glyph again, then rodgorts...and use glyph/immolate till others recharge. With this build I gain back 80% of energy spent on fire skills and i never run out! (50 from ele attunement and 30 from fire attunement...yes they stack)

I use this build primarily for when i have a good tank and i can sit back and unleash hell on UW/FOW or anything else!

If you guys like this ill post the builds for solo underworld as elementalist... and also for the ultimate 2 farming builds.

umm... a few problems. First, Elemental Attunment and Echo are elites. You can have only one elite on your skill bar. Now I assume you meant to say Arcane Echo (duplicates the next spell cast w/in 20 seconds). Second, the problem w/ shower is that recast time is 60 seconds. Firestorm takes 30 seconds. Third, mmolate does almost the same damage as Flare but costs 2x the energy. I'd rather spam Flare than use Immolate.

You won't run out of energy b/c of the attunements, but the recast times for your heavy duty nuking spells mean that you'll wait a while to repeat.

thats why I use the two collector artifacts...2 20% chance of increased recharge time and anyone who knows, knows how fast they regen.. and yes i did mean arcane echo.... also who cares about the energy cost on flare vs immolate... lev 18 immolate does 4 seconds of burning on top of the spell and it costs 2 energy to cast (10 energy plus 80% back) i have never had a problem with regen time, because one of your main skills will get the extra quick recharge:P plus, the amount of damage in that one combo of everyhting is enough to take out a group of aataxes.. so your always rd to go.
ive tried every ele combo out there and by far this is the best for overall power

My setup for UW looks something like this and owns:

1Flare <-- spammage if wait for other spells to recharge
2Fire Storm <-- awesome
3Arcane Echo <-- makes for two of the above spell
4Fireball <--- more efficient blast radius spell then the others
5Meteor <--- I prefer this one over Meteor Shower because of quicker recharge and faster cast time
6Elemenatal Attunement (epic) ---\ these two combined = infinate energy
7Fire Attunement ----------------/
8<-- this slot open i still need to aquire Glyph of Elemental Power but otherwise its normally filled with Aura of Restoration or Res Signet

Even with 4 seconds of fire time, last time I checked, 14dps x4 plus whatever immolate is, that's still less than 2 flares. And flare recharges faster. However.. I wouldn't ever take flare with me to Fissure or .. anywhere, unless I was using Ether Renewal, which you are not. It doesn't make sense to me to spam a 5e when I can do much more than 3x that damage with a 15e spell. This goes double if you use echo/serpent's quickness.

I often use immolate over flare... the only time I would go fire would be that the target's armor are extremely high, therefore fire DoT does alot more than those that count armor in while without the effect of too long recharge and exhausion.

My main reason on the use of immolate on this build over flare is simple. The aataxes have a constant regen on them. With flare it only hits em for the damage which is reduced to start with because of their protection again fire. The immolate causes the -4 regen which prevents their constant healing ability and actually takes em down a bit. The -4 seconds damages them regardless of their fire protection. Of course flare seems to be the most simple addition over immolate, but anyone who solo's them knows how annoying their constant regen to health is.

where is a good or the best farming place?? i heard its snake dance but i nvr get any good items there. i need good items or gold.

What I do is go to Elona Reach and farm the sand drakes outside. For an Ele primary, you'll need to bring the Alesia npc for constant healing. The experience per kill is halved, but you can go further w/ a healer backing you up.

actually. if u become a air ele, and u have a mesmer sub, u can bring mantra of earth, and farm them 2 at a time by urself... ur only screwed if a scorpian(forgot there name) pops up.

Farming drakes outside Elona? I solo that with no problem. Only take 2 on at a time of course.

Max fire. Max En storage. Spells?

Ether renewal, fire attunement, aura of restoration.

5 dmg spells of your choice. Best bets? Meteor shower, best to get this cast off first so it's done casting by the time the two drakes have surrounded you. Then some good spam skills for when you're needing to gain back your energy and health. Flare or immolate. Fire burst, and inferno work well for these drakes as well because they come up right beside you.

I guess another bonus is having geomancer armor, as I do. So that may be part of the reason I don't have much problem with these guys solo. Superior vigor as well. Superior fire, minor en storage. 20/20 recharge wand/focus too if you have.

Those drakes drop pretty decent gold, and they USED to drop seriously amazing weapons but I'm pretty sure that has been tinkered with long ago.

PS- if you're a E/Mo you may not need to take Aura/Ether, it might just be more efficient to take healing breeze or something and up your healing prayers a bit.

my friend goes to snake dance with her mo/me all the time and farms griffins with nothing but one hench tank to take damage. she gets purple and gold drops every once in awhile, and she also gets all kinds of things to salvage materials from. this seems to be a decent place to farm, but im sure it was once better, as there are now random mesmer dolyaks out there, probably because the mo/w soloers were farming it to death.

Let me get this straight.. this build can take on a grand total of.. 2 sand drakes at once. Wow. I am in awe. My w/mo without even an elite managed the sand drake warrior boss, 2 other sand drakes, and a few jade scarabs at once. I didn't do it on purpose.. all the henches kinda died when I was looking for Topaz Crests. It still seems pathetic to me that you can't do the same, especially with much higher dps.

immolate does more dmg overall. set on fire does 7 hp degen which is 14 hp per sec over 3-4 sec is 42-56 dmg that CANNOT be resisted. also while you spam 2 flares to do less dmg you just wasted 1 sec of casting time you could have been using another spell. immolate is more expensive for a reason its better.

lvl 18?? with 12 (max stat) +1 Helmet and +3 Superior max is 16.. u can get 18 but with 20% chance on fire wand / flame artifact but u said u use 20% chance faster recharge time...
