Which Armor Is best for a knockdown warrior?
I have a w/e that specilazies in knockdown and aftershock, I plan to use him for pvp. I currently have plate male, (15k) I was wondering if gladiator armor would be a better choice?

yes gladiators would be better, as the 10 energy of aftershock is a big drain for a warrior

Warrior armor is very simple:
Gladiators Chest
Gladiators Leggings
Stone Gauntlets for Hammer, Gladiators otherwise
Knights Boots
No choice really needed. Gladiators is clearly best.

Gladiator's, Knight's Boots, Stoneskin Gauntlets.
You can grab one of the other armor sets if you really want the look but not using Stoneskin Gauntlets with a hammer is a crime.
Peace,

Wearing knight boot wont give u the damage reduce to your whole armor as it used to (fix 2 patchs ago i think) so wearing knight boots wont do much... The damage reduce will only apply if ur hit and that the boots are what take the damage (about 10-15% chance... cant remember exactly) and thats without saying that many spells will target ur body piece automaticly

You think wrong.
I'm getting tired of this argument.

Damage reduction works overall - tested it myself with Knight's boots and Ascalon 15k-boots.

Maybe im mistaken but im pretty sure I saw what i explain in the patch notes from a recent patch... lemme see if I can find it.
EDIT: Oh well, after some research... I guess your right...
Couldnt find it anywhere.. must not have changed and still reduce damage as a whole. Dunno why I thought it changed, must be hallucinating

It has been tested recently, knights boots and the mesmer +15 while casting are global. No need to wear anything more than the shoes.
