hey everyone, this will be the 7th character I will ascend, problem is I have so far ascended every profession apart from anything Monk primary. Obviously I realise that at my current lvl 10, it would be near impossible to ascend her, but yet again I have done the 3 pre ascention missions in the desert so I just might be able to. So far I have tried my mirror around 8-9 times, each time unsuccessful of course. Just wondering if anyone out there who has also ascended a low lvl M/Wa would have some tips for me. Hopefully ascend around lvl 11-14, so if you have done this feat, could you post the lvl you did it and maybe some tips if possible. I was lvl 14 on my other incivi account but that was ascended by my son, and now he wont reveal how he did it. Any tips would be appreciated.

Basically the trick is to have 6-7 utterly useless skills and only 1-2 usefull skills.
The AI can not see what skill is usefull, you can.

This works really nice with spirits as useless skills and smiting as usefull skill.

make sure you have the best armor you can, you will need it.

Yea that is generally the idea I go with, but I cant seem to get it to work on this one. If I go in close she hits 150s on me with chaos axe, if i drop back she smites me badly. If only I had gone necro secondary, I could ascend at lvl 4, then just change to warrior secondary. Oh the shame.

Here is a good idea (maybe not sure with such a low level) Try equipping frenzy, sure mirrior will attack faster but also will take double damage

Monks can ascend easy. First bring healing breeze as your only heal, since the mirror doesnt use it. Then use your wand plus bane signet (the knockdown one) and you'll win easy.

Frenzy + armor ignoring damage is deadly.

If you've maxxed out your smiting prayers, and he's using frenzy-

Smite will deal 168 damage per hit while he's attacking
Banish will deal 116 damage per hit
Bane Signet will deal 116 damage per hit
Holy Strike will deal 200(!) while he's knocked down

You might also consider Retribution and/or Smite Hex. For Smite Hex fodder, bring Pacifism and he'll hex you with it. Smite Hex deals 90 base, 180 double damage.

Retribution will deal 33% damage back to him, and then double it because of frenzy, causing him to take 66% damage instead. (The double damage is applied AFTER the retribution damage cap)

Healing Breeze is a form of self-healing, if you need it, that the mirror doesn't like using.

Don't take healing breeze reversal will do the healing for u.
I don't know why people say that the mirror doesn't use healing breeze it did for my R/Mo. It was down to half health and then its health starts regening and theirs an enchant. It does use healing breeze maybe they have changed it

i have a very very very simple lvl 14 way to do it.. 2 skills is all u need retribution and reversal of fortune... before u enter the battle bring all ur ranks to zero. go enter the mission and use all ur skills on prot and smiting (half and half). then spam reversal and ur done.. its that easy.. reversal of fortune wont work as well for dopple because she doesnt have any rank into it since u put them in DURING the battle and not before.. if ur confused about this pm me in game.. its a very very clever strategy that my guildee showed me
