doing a full 100% run I can do its mearly the time required thaqt makes it prohibitive. It takes about 6 hours to clear all of UW with a good team. Solo it takes 24+ hours of gameplay not including sleep brakes or food or bathroom brakes. I made my build and had it perfected within 2 weeks of the games release so if anyone has beat that come forward and prove it.
My defination of soloing UW is because most people count being able to do a solo smite run to be soloing UW. A few of the quests are almost impossible to do solo anyway. I say almost because I have EVERYTHING in UW compleatly 3 times out of 12 attempts.
Now as for zehly's post: I know that a multitude of anti NR builds exist, I use them all. I just experiment and generally have fun with solo or 2-3 man teams.

To #1 - I know there is a Korean that--if they could stop farming for IGE and read your post--has definately made your build look "noobish". But I don't discredit your work. Be humble about your achievements though...
To #2 - I was not trying to criticize your testing of anti-NR builds.. I was complementing you!

To #1 - Excellent I play the one that I have found to be most efficent and fun. And As for making me look "noobish" fine by me I just get tired of people saying that they were the first with this build when they made it about 1 month ago.
To # 2 - I Know that you were complamenting you and didn't mean to come off snobbish.

Ya I know how big that would be but I think its illistrates my point the best. I was simply saying you cant make up your own parameters and expect ppl to follow them (it goes by what the masses accept as soloing not the few). But I'm sure you understood that.

you forgot one part of Farming , well when you are alone you "want" farm ,for my part i like Farm / Pve ,so i farm for my friends not for my own profit each item i received go to one of my friends who need it ,:/ but with a Warrior it's not fun that's why i seek a M/W build for farm anywhere for my friends if any could help me by pm it would be cool cuz i read the "builds" in lot of forum and i'm very lost cuz no one say the exact attributes :/

i created the invincimonk for this reason >.>
i tried it with 2 people and then 3 runs in a row, the other person got the ecto, so then i started soloing because of that... but other than that...
why should arena.net nerf the invincimonk? it is easily counterable in pvp, and in pve, as long as you cant do every mission in the game solo, i see no reason to say its overpowered. you cant do anything with ether seals, cant do thunderhead keep, cant do anything with mass enchant strips [a lot of things fall under this catagory] and just about everything else has some embedded anti-invincimonk in it. though those people who rely on bonnetis and use no skill or timing will die easily, but if they made UW have more enchant strippers, like someone with inspired or shatter, I could still personally overcome it. I can kill a group of 3 mesmers with shatter and still not die. Only way to kill one is with a bigger enchant stripper, and with that, it makes doing underworld with any kind of group too hard. try playing an e/me echo spiker without air attunement and elem attunement.... so by making uw harder, it makes it harder for everyone else.

I'm not as worried about that as those in PvP locking out anyone that is not already rank 3 or above. thus driving ALL newcomers to the game Away from PvP for life.
I know the Rank Guild rating is scheduled for reset near the end of year, so hopefully this will ensure new players have a chance to join in this major part of the game they have been shut out of by arrogant braggart players that think they are all that. The FACT that it is going on is a reason enough for the reset. It just makes one sick that no one wants to play with new people EVER... New players are what make the game interesting. I go back to pre searing regularly to help out new players in our guild. and use my resources from later missions to help them out early with good collectors items or rune drops for their armor. and assit them with early missions so they do not feel left out. But getting them to participate in PvP is always a hard move because so many are so cruel to them.

Sorry, my bs-o-meter is off the charts. Proof plx. I hate to criticize, since I know you are a good player and all. Seriously, who is going to copy it? I hear stuff beyond smites doesn't drop all that well, so why would people solo farm (slowly) there.
Since none of you have the balls to post your unique builds so far, I will give one of mine. I wouldn't say its uber or anything, I just like to brag about how I hunt with a mo/ with no healing or protection spells. This is for desert griffons not UW, but it is moddable to solo snake dance pretty well. I can kill the monk or warrior boss every time, unlike some w/mo I have seen.

3 inspiration
collectors divine staff +5 def +20% enchanting
judges top and bottom, ascetic arm and feet
balt aura
balt spirit
shield of judgement
zealots fire
divine boon
channeling
physical resistance
essence bond/retribution - I forget, haven't farmed there in a while. I think you only need essence for the bosses but retri makes the rest of the run easier. If I aggro 1 or 2 scorpions, I lead the grif and minos next to them to kill. Sometimes they spawn bad and you aggro like 5 of em, smartest to run away and let them deaggro.

Any class can farm just about anything if done right. There are some exceptions but generally you can solo farm or 2 person farm with any combination of builds.

and your reply is right below. check the post date and the date it was last edited. that was the prototype of what people now call the 'invinci monk' and it was a build that we used in june to demonstrate how totally pointless armour rating is in underworld. it was conceived as a joke in irc between various somethingawful.com members and xerin sedai (then in negative zero but now in angry businessmens) was the person who started it.
we never intended it to be a solo underworld build. i quit uni and moved out on the 26th june. didnt play for a month and came back to see that this build had been modified and was now used to cheese the fact that there arent enough enchant stripping creeps in underworld. less surprisingly ive also encountered numerous people on this forum and in game that claim to have 'invented' it.

but about nerfing this build? no that shouldnt happen. what they should do instead is either change protective bond at level 17.
OR (even better in my opinion)
stick a necro squid boss in the quest from the lost soul. one that preferably has rend enchantment and lingering curse. that would make it impossible to solo out of the labyrinth. heck, there should be more enchant stripping creatures in underworld period. such an easy thing to do as well. i suggested something along these lines months ago in order to make underworld harder. back then nobody solo'ed it although many groups did begin to smite run in groups of 3 and 4.
the hardest pve area in the game is reduced to a joke when you can solo whole chunks of it.

I farm uw no becuase i like seeing yellow on my screen liek previously stated its very satisfying
But i also do it becuase the game has become dull no one is willing to take a low rank play and most pickup teams get eaten alive in tombs it just not fun anymore the only fun i find the game is farming becuase seeing a gold drop is always fun
