Whatever you use for griffons should also work for trolls.

Distracting Blow on Trolls is just something you have to live with, there's no way to stop it happening. The best thing you can do (although how well it will work with large numbers of Trolls, I'm not sure) is to judge when they're going to interrupt. They will only interrupt when you use a skill, so you need to time your castings so that you cast straight after an attack - they can't interrupt until their next attack, by which time you've hopefully finished your spell (depending on what it happens to be).

There is a place for Troll farming..in the ice cave near Droknar's Forge.. (Right above the Area). There are at least about above 20 of them inside..I think they are lvl 24 and way easier then Griffions...So far.. no good drops.. but once I got one gold fallblade.

That is where I was playing around with them, nothing good, but good fun nonetheless. Great place to go if you want to feel really good about yourself, aside from the Charr. never had any problems with interupts though. So no clue on that one, I just used a simple old school smiting build
Balth Spirit
Balth Aura
SoW
Shield of Judge
Zealot's Fire
Healing Breeze
Healing Touch /Orison
Sprint
I don't smite much anymore. and haven't really kept up with any new smiting builds, I don't care for it...so sorry if this doesn't work

Use bonette defence if u hate interupting so much...
it increases the chances of successful casting next spell since it dodges attack

If you are really good....try to get all the ways to near dreadnought drifts either by running or fighting with friends. In snake dance, there is 1 area with an ice cave near the area transition portal that spawns like 30 or 40of them. Once you kill all of them just area transition and do it again. As for the thing about ice caves north of the forge, it wont work since first of all there is only about 12 or16trolls you can fight there and second, the last mob has a boss so you never know what profession its gonna be. If you get an ele and you are doing the bonettis thing, you are probably gonna die.

The entire cave and outskirts in Talus Chute typically has around 30 trolls as well, and only two possible bosses can spawn - a warrior boss and a ranger boss. The ranger boss is slightly more of a nuisance due to troll unguent (and frozen soil! watch out for frozen soil, man!), the warrior boss should give no trouble whatsoever.
Avoiding Disrupting Chop is quite simple, just use a tactics stance (Bonetti's Defense is excellent for this since it's adrenal) before using the skill you want to go off, and they'll get only 25% chance to disrupt it (since monsters coordinate their skill use, only one troll will attempt the disrupting blow). With multiple trolls attacking, you'll also get a free energy refill which never hurts.

You can collect troll tusks, then get collector items and sell to noobs in LA
You can get a pretty decent Bone (ie death magic) staff in Snake Dance with that.

If you are going to be doing much farming around there I'd suggest some Scrolls of Slayer's Insight also. By killing the bosses you will extend the scrolls life. So basic run for me is: Enter cave, pop scroll, kill initial baddies, kill first boss, kill some aviecra outside N end, kill second boss, kill tundra giants until scroll bonus ends. You get 420 exp per normal troll and 1k for the bosses that way. SPs galore more or less.
