er bloody i thought i answered your question: the point is the necro isnt planning to stay alive. at all. necro is gonna get owned just about every 10 seconds. once they realise that theyre wasting theyre time killing you repeatedly they start going for tanks and once they kill something other than you (pets usually) you start to shine with all those wells.
and yes this build is easily counterable. i just had this obsession with using scourge healing but that didnt work so poo.
for example on the courtyard map, it is ridiculously easy to at least prevent the warrior team from winning with *any* build. all you do is this: they will try to gank someone and make it a 1-1 or they just lose. so what you do is if they come for you, just run them in a big circle around the map, kill their priest and then kill their hero. done. (note they have 0 healing so its not that hard).
if they attack someoen else, well gank their priest then gank their hero. done again. easy. if a pet build wins in a > 2 team king of the hill its a good time to start crying ^^

I run OoP, OoV {E}, Healing Breeze, Healing Seed, Mending, Well of the Profane, Well of Suffering, Res Sig when I play an IWAY N/Mo. 8 Healing, evenly throw the rest of the points in Blood/Death/Soul Reaping and go to town. I run a couple of good size runes since I'm gonna be WAY out of the fight except on an altar map when I may sneak in to use Seed/Wells after I know nobody is gonna come hunt me down.
Key to killing them, find the necro fast, he can be FAR because OoP/OoV are global team enchantments. Send 1, maybe 2 guys he'll be soft and smooshy. Try not to use your AoE damage, target 1 warrior and drop them quick, move on to the next, burn their res sigs fast.

Great. There goes my guild build discovered.
Anyway.
This build, or variations of it are now becoming a common sight. That means there are counters. You probably won't win HOH with this build if you don't win it normally anyway. Spiteful spirit, Healing Hands, Shielding Hands, Healing Seed, FTW.

it is actually next to impossible to win the HoH or the Courtyard map with this build, simply because you cant defend the ghostly. one monk wont do it, and one n/mo definetly wont do it. so the first thing to do if you come across this build in an altar map (without resorbs) is to kill the ghostly/priest. then just try and cap the altar before you all die.

Yup, we beat an IWAY war group in about 30 seconds on courtyard by beating them to the altar, killing their hero, then killing their priest. They did kill all of us a few times after that, until we got our offense right and killed them the 2nd time we rezzed on the altar.

Lol today when i was using this build we sadly just could not hold HoH(no surprises there) But we did manage to hold the courtyard by slaughtering both teams and ghostly hero's also we held another one forget the name but it was at the last second it had a big snake and a ressurection orb(damn my memory). But our setup was a little bit different. Basically it was one Mo/Me who used heal party and healing seed on hour hero if necassary and a N/Mo who's health was like 200 or something so she could cast oov,and oop and use heal area.

actually i saw the transformers use that. it was 2 mo/n using heal party, healing seed, and order spamming. i think they had this ridiculous amount of self heals too, they had this ish-healing ball up.
idk how well they did, we met them (and lost to them) in uw. lol. so i have no idea how they did on altar.
and yea arathorn you just kill the hero/ghostly and they go home crying. my biggest success in that map on an iway build was when we managed to kill everything on the map, but we lost our hero early on and the net result was no one taking the altar and we all went home.
(i owned you last night arathorn )

lol actually i discovered counter #3827346 to most generic pet builds: stay in a ball. have eveyrone sit together. then let your emos or whatever beat the crap outa them with aoes. or whatever you have, but sit in a ball and let the aoes do the work. it works pretty decently
(this isnt strictly my idea but i think our group was the first to do it)
and yea it doesnt work too well... you need more counters. like while all grouped up shadow of fear is good... etc. but its a good formation to be in when against those iway builds.

haha i actually saw a team like this use maelstrom, someone probably went ele as a secondary. it was funny. they didnt even time it right, i think we were hit by maelstrom like 3 seconds before they ran in. definetly worth a laugh since it really didnt do much.
if i were to do this i would take meteor shower, with so many people there in a ball you will undoubtedly be body blocked in and someones going to get knocked down by meteor shower in the stampede. not sure it makes iway feasible tho =/

lol case in point, most people playing IWAY are like pivo war.
anyway but the newer ones send in the pets with death nova on them, get adrenaline with wands etc and then run in as soon as the n/e uses meteor shower and glyph of sacrifice on the well of profane. pretty nasty. especially if you run two necros the recharge on sacrifice is no big deal
