I don't switch weapons in battle usually, as there's a slight delay when switching.
And if the warriors are being spiked/smited, chances are you won't last long enough to swing that 20<50 sword much. Give me > 50 or stances any day. Or better yet, just stances. Or better yet, one with absolutely no drawbacks

This post wasn't stating that there will be only 1 weapon used at a time.. it was simply pointing out.. and if you refer to my second post... that every weapon is a situational one. While yes in tombs or guild battles the 15 >50 is what you want.. in arena's you arent always lucky enough to have a healer on your side.. and not every warrior is a war/mo or blood warrior, so its a situation argument.. best bet is to keep a set of multiple weapons, and use as needed.
AND FOR PEOPLE THAT DONT UNDERSTAND .. no matter the mods on your weapon if you are keeping it.. you should know that it needs to be customized!

Finally someone says the best answer to this question.
After that, my axe warrior uses an axe that has dmg +14% while in stance. being that for pve or random pvp i will use at least 2 stances at all times, i can control that much easier than relying on a monk to heal me, and if i do have a good monk, then im still doing 14% dmg in stance

Thanks for the kind words, Mistress.
I did a quick comparison of the best two (IMO) damage always modifiers, and it shows that the -5 energy mod is much better than the -10 armor mod. I personally don't like either the -1 energy/health degeneration mods for obvious reasons.
-5 energy mod + Gladiator's Armor (chest and skirt) ----> 20 energy, 80 AL, +20 AL vs. Phy
-10 armor mod + Plate Armor (chest and legs) ----> 20 energy, 75 AL, +10 AL vs. Phy
the -5 mod beats the -10 armor mod in every aspect, holding energy constant.

Under 50 is better prehaps in the random arenas, some extent the teams, and in parties in PvE.
Although I prefer stance above them all because it's a lot easier to control whether I'm in stance or not. You could be at full health, Grenth's Balance and a few attacks and there goes your increased damage. Heal Party, there goes your 20%.

Um i wudn't tottaly agree here. I play tombs alot (currently rank10) and in find it suprisingly easy to kill warriors first in most teams (i play warrior too).
Like in dual smite teams if u kill their warriors they have no dmg and they will get crushed. monks tend to overprotect them selves so soem times u can kill a whole team and leave all 3 monks alive

the best is if the wepon got +15% or more wile health is below 50% i mean that bechose that u need to kill a fiend faster when ure health is low to survive

Actualy, imo, best would be a +15% always with -1energy regen with zealous mod on it. It stay at -1 (doesnt become -2 when zealous is added)

It's not true. I found a Long Sword with +15% -1 energy regen, added a Zealous Sword Hilt, and my Warrior has 0 energy regen now. So you can toss that out the window.

This topic is very true if u do the math as a warrior lets say a normal shot would be 28 dmg (sword warrior). TO find out the bonus that the 15% gives you, u would need to multiply 28*.15 which equals 4.2 dmg so your final dmg with the 15% would be around 32. Now in the long run all of you are saying "That amounts to like 150 dmg per game that you do extra dude."That is true but would you pay the enormous amount of money to deal +4 dmg to a monk that will heal himself right after? It does help for any warrior to have that 15% but since the prices now are SOOO messed up itshould not be vital in any build.
My sword is this
Sundering Forked Sword of Fortitude
15-22 Slashing dmg
20% dmg (when health is below 50%)
Health +28
Sundering 10(10%)
Customized 20% dmg
Its definitely not one of the best swords but it saved me LOADS of money on not haveing that 15%. I ended up wasting on the sword a mear 10k with the sundering already on it, i then modded the fortitude. if i were to have bought that sword with the 15% it would have cost me an easy 30k.
20% to me is ALOT better and thats my opinion im sure others will disagree.

I like using the "while in a stance" mod as a warrior with frenzy sometimes. Considering I basically try to keep up frenzy whenever im attacking (and not getting attacked) it works pretty well; especially since i'm usually targeted later.

Since someone decided to res this thread for no apparent reason, I guess I'll respond to this, especially with the update and all. You can get a 15>50 sword at Droknar's now for 5k and some materials, so the cost is irrelevant for PvE characters. (Sundering is a waste of money anyway...) If you create a new PvP character you get a 15>50 or 20<50 sword for free. Stances is much better though since pretty much any Warrior is running some Stance.
