We don't recruit so there shouldn't be a problem. If we were to recruit new people we wouldn't have to use a stealth recruiting thread in gladiator's arena on guru to do it.

We haven't been as active of late in team arena since we've had enough on to play in tombs recently. That being said we'll still pick up someone from the list if we do end up playing in team arena.

Since the list is so long now and I can't fit everyone on my friends list I would suggest just PMing me directly. Be perserverant but just shy of annoying.

The name Nostalgic Adventure no longer applies to any character (that I am aware of), you might be able to reach me on Alrac Protector or Harvester Banebow, but I tend to be on PvP characters more now.

Still would like to have a go with you guys, but school, work, and my guild may end up taking most of my time.

I have gone to the ventrilo site as instructed; which of the servers do you guys use?

I'd be extremely interested. I don't win too often in the 4v4 arena (max of 5 in a row, on good days), using variations of the proto monk default template.

I pretty much only play monk, mostly Proto as of late. I'm trying to find out which skills best suit me; I often remake my PvP monks, changing the secondary each time.

I'm also interested in learning what makes a "good", cohesive group, and what does not. I've tried to select a group that I had figured would work, but these groups usually don't do too great.

My IGN is Chung Fao Yi (although like I stated above, I often make new PvP chars). I usually play Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights EST. Anytime after 7 pm is fine, really.

I'll add your names to my friends list and try to contact you guys. I realize you're probably pretty busy with all these people wanting to terrorize :-P

Heh, I'd actually like to play with Ensign sometime, I've got quite a few skills unlocked and can play many main builds. I'd like to try out a team arenas necro spiker build if possible though

I can't seem to find Guild Wars PvP for Dummies on Amazon, I have joined umpteen bazillion PUGs in tombs and spent countless hours eating dirt and watching IWAY zombies and their dawgies pee on me (all for a mere 29 fame so far - maybe I'll get that bunny emote one of these days you think?!), I tried random arena but kept walking into the lava, my guild (and all the 10+ guilds I tried before it) have about 3 ppl on on average, all of which say, "I'd really love to try pvp sometime when I grow up" (they obviously didn't read the box when they bought a game called "guild wars")... and so on ad nauseum.

In short, GW needs a good way to help us n00bs get into pvp without spending 80% of the time chewing dust while Conan the Teenage Turtler spams "Conan is dead!" as if you couldn't tell (seriously, some guy was yelling at me the other day for not healing him when I was dead). I really hope I get the opportunity to learn something from you guys sometime (anyone know how to heal when dead?).

As for what I play, well so far I have virtually all of the monk and warrior skills unlocked (with my m/w), and most of the ele skills unlocked with my e/mo, e/me (I'm working on the mes skills). Haven't done much ranger or necro yet. In pvp I have mostly played air spiker/wards ele, or prot or healing monk (easy to find a team since everyone needs someone to blame when they lose). I just need to learn so I hope I can hook up with you sometime.

BTW, with a collectors icon I found in pre-searing, and of course the right 5 sup runes, I have found I can get a 10% chance of casting mending at +5 pips! It usually takes between 12 to 22 casts (average over 38 tries so far) to hit the +5, which can be cutting it close when those arena gates open, but its worth it, talk about invincible!
