Why is ensign a savage cheater?
|
I'm not sure why he picked that name but we do get a lot of "HAXORZ" comments when we smash people in arena.
We like to play along with them. Sometimes Ensign will start the match by saying "Okay team ... activate cheats now!"
Then everyone will go
"up up down down left right left right select start!"
It's pretty amusing. The sad part is I get the feeling that some teams think we actually do cheat.

i hope your kidding about ensign >.>
anyway, i noticed a fat n/a near my name
so ill give you the list:
pve chars:
jessica hunter: r/me i have almost all the ranger elites unlocked, i think all im missing is liek feral strike and something else thats useless.
susie hunter: mo/n, missing many monk elites
kate hunter: e/r, air ele, can only switch to fire ele (the rest isnt unlocked)
pvp chars:
kahune burger: usually on an axe warrior. i have most warrior skills/elites unlocked
only two characters i am hopeless at playing is mesmers and necros.
there now you have no excuse for an n/a near my name

Haven't had a chance to play with ya'll yet, but I have deleted the character that is under the name given, and just add Faith Solari to your list, as my pvp character names change alot. =P Currently it is Youll Hate Me, and it probably will stay that way for a pretty long time. I'm hoping to get a few matches in during the weekend, as I don't have my mic with me atm.

We've tried to emphasize that this isn't the most serious of endeavors. If you'd like to hang out and play with us we're trying to reach out to players who want to get better and do some networking.
It doesn't mean we have all the answers, or think we have all the answers. As a guild, we know a lot about the game (all or nearly all of us played throughout the BWEs, insert other credentials here) and we'll share with people who want to learn by doing, not just from reading forums.
If you don't think there's anything to do to improve your build or your play, we can still probably win some games and have a decent time doing it. But there's some mutual reward built into sharing- both sides (optimally) benefit from the experience. Maybe you're running a build we've never seen or thought up before. There are a lot more of you than there are of us, and despite the many hours we've logged, the populace of this forum has more hours to spend than we do as a group.
So don't be mad. And remember, you've got a great smile!

Thanks for your kind response. I honestly am not angry, just the comment threw me for a loop. I just may take you up on that and try to play with you guys sometime.
Happy hunting and thanks again

That's the "Konami Code". Most, but not all games published/developed by Konami use that code to some extent.
You guys planning on keeping this up during the EXTREME PVP WEEKEND?
I'm not too experienced with PvP, but everyone needs to learn. If I could go, that'd be great.

Sarus got it wrong- he probably never even owned a NES.
He was attempting to give out the Konami Code (Up Up Down Down Left Right Left Right B A B A (select) Start) but screwed it up in the end. That's why he never gets 30 lives in the Arena. Nub.
I'm more than positive that you can google the code input sequence.

Sounds like quiet the bit of fun, put me down
Of course, I suppose that means I will have to go figure out how to work vent, and try to figure out if it is similar to ts and I can set a 'push-to-talk' button
I could be on any one of my characters, but the two mains are Nostalgic Adventure (W/E) and Harvester Banebow (R/*)
Hmmm...alas, college may take my time away from playing during the week (depending on the workload I end up with, maybe the weekends as well), but I look foward to joining you at some point

Well, my team was on a streak in the Team Arena (a guildie and I got bored =P), and the BAM! Out of nowhere, I see a team of Idiot Savants and a random guy. My guildie asked what was wrong, and I told him he'd see.
Well, needless to say, Savage Cheater and one other Axe War completely tore through my Monk. I don't think I've ever had Disrupting Chop used on me until now. >_>
Well, I hope you guys are having fun. <_<

Dunno why, but blacklace strikes me more as the "savage cheater" type. Esign would be more like the guy that figured out the cheat, but never bothered to use it.

Well, I have played ~ 70 rounds of team arena with iQ ( as Baby Boom Boom ) so far and have only lost 1 round. I would say that iQ knows their stuff.
Who cares about tombs and how many times you win it, I don't think its a good measure of how good a guild is.
