axe w/ deep wound. Pretty simple since deep wound takes away 20% of your opponents help automatically along with the dmg. bleeding and poison are both degen and well its not great

You posted the exact same question on GWO.

Deep wound is the most dangerous condition, by far.

I'd vote that it's equal in danger level to Dazed. Problem? Dazed is far too conditional a skill to afflict your victim with. Deep Wound however is not...

"Deep Wound, 20% less maximum health, effectiveness of healing spells reduced on this character"

As others said, if you want straight up quickest damage, that's deep wound. However, in my brief stints into pvp, I have found that poison can be quite enjoyable. There's just some sick satisfaction with watching a coward run away, only to die from my poison anyway. Granted, this same effect can be met with crippled or the like, that will slow them and let you finish the deal that way.

Deep wound reduces max HP by 20%, reduces current HP by 20% of max (to a minimum of 1 hp), and reduces the healing received by the victim by some amount. I don't know how much the healing reduction is exactly, but having played monks I can assure you that it's there.

if deep wound hits and expires before the target dies, then the total damage it did is 0... not very helpful. Of course, deep wounded targets have a habit of dying fairly often, so this often isnt an issue, but id just like to point out that deep wound has the potential to be the least powerful condition if your team doesnt capitalize on it, and can even end up helping the enemy team if they lay prot spirit (max dmg now ~40 down from ~50)

Not quite true. Since Deep Wound reduces healing on that target by 20% you're indirectly doing that 20% in damage that target would have gotten from the healing.

O right, my bad. Deep wound remains supreme always and forever then.

You also take off from their current hp 20% of their normal max hp with the next hit you do, which is why Eviscerate is so so great when the target's getting a bit low on health.
