Why? - It offers fame and rank. It offers prizes for victory in the halls. And the best guilds are known for winning hoh, not for fighting gvg.

Many top guilds have the crappiest gvg rating, but are awesome hoh, simply because they dont gvg.

no the best guilds are known for gvg. i used to think that hoh was everything, and my guild has won hall over the last two months more than any other, but if you are going for guild glory over individual, you need to gvg. tombs is just too easy these days because all of the best players are gvg'ing. what you get in hoh is to be some newbs' idol. you get respect from the good players in gvg.
