The Invinci-Pet Build
As of the moment I haven't found any uses for this build yet except for shocking your team mates because your level 3 moa bird just survived Thunderhead without dying. The basic idea of this build has already been posted somewhere but I just wanted to make a new thread so people could discuss it and test it for themselves and maybe find a use for it and share it with everyone else.
For this build you need a Mo/R with the following attributes:
16 Protection to get protective bond down to 3 energy taken per hit
Some healing to keep yourself and your pet alive
Some divine favor for divine signet since you will be maintaining quite a few enchantments
The skills you need are:
Charm Animal - yes this build requires you to have a pet!
Symbiotic Bond - half of the pets damage is redirected to you
Protective Bond - pet cannot take more than 5% damage
Life Bond - half of the pets damage is redirected to you
Essence Bond - you get energy every time the pet is hit
Balthazar’s Spirit - you gain energy every time you take damage
Divine Signet - gain energy for each enchantment you're maintaining
Any healing skill - maybe breeze or mending.. its up to you
Basically you get a low level pet and toss Protective Bond on him first and make sure your protection prayers is at level 16 otherwise your energy is going to drop every time your pet takes damage.
Next put Life Bond on the pet to redirect some damage to yourself.
Then put Essence Bond on the pet to gain 1 energy every time he gets hit.
Then put Balthazar’s Spirit on yourself to gain energy for damage taken.
Finally use Symbiotic Bond which redirects more damage to you.
Even 0 in Beast Mastery is fine since it last for 120 seconds minimum.
Now your energy regeneration should be at 0 so just use Divine Signet to gain energy.
Voila! Your pet can now only take 25% of 5% of his hp. So if a level 3 pet has 50 hp for example, then the maximum damage he can take would be 0.625 unless my math is totally wrong in which case someone please correct me!
What's also great is that you are gaining 3 energy every time your pet gets hit as long as you cast symbiotic bond every 2 minutes and are losing 3 energy every time he gets hit because of protective bond so your energy should stay level while your pet is tanking stuff.
Now the problem with this build is that pets aren't very smart and will sometimes just randomly run back to you while tanking something. And this is if you even get the enemy to agro your pet!
The other issue is that you will still be taking damage and you only have one skill open for healing. The pet will have a constant 1 regen from Symbiotic Bond but this is not enough once someone makes him bleed or makes him sick so I suggest Healing Breeze as the extra healing skill.
Well like I said I haven't found any uses for this yet except for the fun or perhaps if someone wants to level his pet to 20 without letting it die once. If anyone finds the time to try this out and does find a use for it I'll be happy to know!

I think it'd be cool if you could team with a Monk that could smite off it.

This build sounds well... useless, you are just leaching off the rest of the group... your pet is too weak to do damage, and all it can do is get in the way and take hits...

Almost, but symbiotic bond won't work on a w/mo.

Yeah Symbiotic Bond is really what makes this build run. If there were a similar skill that redirects damage from a target to yourself just like Life Bond does then that could be used to maintain the 3 energy lost per hit from Protective Bond.
Also this isn't really a complete build. It's just a concept that someone might find a use for someday, so please keep your "this build is useless" posts somewhere else.
So far the only use for this build is to just have fun with your pet!

Call of Protection with Predator's Pounce does wonders for sturdiness. You don't really need *all* of those monk spells, do you?

Well the only monk spell you could do without is Divine Signet if you have another way of gaining energy to make up for the 0 energy regen.

too bad for this build, at 0 DF, you get a max of 3 energy back,
Maybe a mo/r could run this, lol.

Or you could run Ferocious Strike or Marksman's Wager. Do damage AND get energy back. Especially for a pet build.

Wouldnt the gnashers (necros) and hertics (mesmers) just strip some of those enchantments, same reason why solo mo/w build doesnt work in most places?
