Actually I dont really know the rest. It's kind of hard to survive against all those griffons with this build...the main reason ppl farm griffons with an axe is cyclone, yes, but they use an axe for th huge heal with vigorous spirit and live viraculously. If you rely on just the vamp haft it wont be of much help. There are lots of stances to help you survive a lil while but the small % of them hurting you will be very hard. You recieve props for trying to be original though.

the problem with this build is that you're relying completely on stances to keep you alive, along with the signet and illusion of weakness. on paper, it might be a good idea, but the AI gets lucky real often. you might get hit while the signet is working, which would mean instant death. or you just might get unlucky and happen to get hit with a Final Thrust at the wrong time. stances just don't cut it. what you need in that build is an armor buff of some sort, like Dolyak Signet or Physical Resistance. the mesmer's armor is just too flimsy to stand up to that kind of punishment...

An interesting concept, however, I think that the Power Mesmer build is more reliable and safer for hunting melee-only monsters:
Signet of Midnight, Epidemic, Distortion, and Spirit of Failure are the core, the rest is damage-dealing.
I've tried this build and, while it works, it's tricky and the timing is critical. When you do get hit (even at 4% chance) it hurts because the minos hit quite hard.
Even so, I'd rather use the R/W tank because the killing speed is faster and it's more interactive than the Mo/? versions.
